It was officially and fully recognized and licensed as an undergraduate provider by the Royal Government of Cambodia under the Sub-decree No. 59 ANK-PK, dated on 12th June, 2007. Life University initially focused its training programs under five colleges namely:
1.College of Business Management (Majors in: Management, Marketing, Accounting, Banking and Finance)
2. College of Science and Engineeri
ng (Computer Science, Civil Engineering and Mathematics)
3.College of Art, Humanity and Languages (English, Korean, Chinese and Theology)
4. College of Nursing and Midwifery (Nursing and Midwifery; Both Associate and Bachelor)
5.College of Hospitality Management and Tourism (Restaurant Management, Hotel Management, Hospitality Management and Tourism)
As the number of students has significantly increased, in year 2011, LU has expanded its training programs by starting one more college which it is the college of Architecture and Urban-Planning and additionally LU has expanded its level of training programs to graduate program (Master Program) in the same year. With our positive development in higher education, LU has received more students from year to year. More than 100 students are sent to overseas for exchange program, scholarship, and master program with our partner universities in South Korea and other countries. For international corporations, LU has built the strong relationship with 41 local and international NGOs, universities to promote cultural exchanges, academic exchanges, staff and lecturer exchange, research, and student practicum.
