"올해 셰익스피어 탄생 450주기를 맞아서 학과에서 공연하는 '로미오와 줄리엣'의 연출을 맡았습니다. 창원대 영문과의 30번째이자, 그동안 저희를 지도해주신 이지훈 교수님과 함께 만드는 마지막 연극이에요."

"원래는 방학 동안 열심히 연습하고 학기가 시작하면 극을 올리는 식으로 연극제를 진행했어요. 하지만 올해에는 학기 초에 극을 정하고 캐스팅을 하고, 학기 중에 계속 연습을 진행하고 있어요. 그러다보니 학생들끼리 시간을 맞추기도 힘들고 혹시 지나친 연습으로 학생들의 학업에 무리가 갈까 많이 조심하고 있습니다."

"올해는 특별히 모든 대사에 한글 자막까지 첨부할 예정이라 영문학에 관심 있는 시민 여러분들께서도 부담 없이 극을 즐기실 수 있게 만들었습니다. 열심히 연습하고 있으니까, 많이 보러 와주세요^^"

"I am a producer of 'Romeo and Juliet' to celebrate the 450th anniversary of William Shakespeare this year. The play is English department's 30th and the last play with our supervisor, Professor Lee Ji Hoon."

"We(English department's cast and staff members) normally proceed preparation of the theaterfestival during a vacation, and hold the stage when a new semester begins. However, this year, we fixed on our playscript and cast members in the beginning of this semester, and we are still on the move. Because the progress takes place within the semester, I find it hard to adjust meeting hours, and I continuously need to be aware of each members' school studies; however, I can tell you this, we are putting our best in every rehearsal."
