The Graduate TESOL Program (MA/Ph.D.) in the Department of TESOL at Pai Chai University is inviting applications for Spring 2022 Admissions.
Our program aims to provide TESOL professionals with up-to-date knowledge and skills needed to lead innovations in English teaching and learning.
For the MA Degree in TESOL, you may choose either Thesis Track or Comprehensive Exam Track (i.e., no need to write a thesis). Also, you may choose to obtain the MA TESOL Degree from PCU and also from the University of North Florida in the US after studying in each institution for two consecutive semesters.
* Our program is fully ready to offer all courses online in the event of any serious viral outbreak such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program offers scholarship opportunities to those who are school teachers, PCU graduates/ faculty/staff members, international students or government employees.
The PCU Graduate TESOL Program features two professional certification tracks. Upon successful completion, you may obtain an official certificate in the chosen area depending on your choice of the track along with the MA or Ph.D. degree.
1. Certificate for Multimedia-Assisted English Learning & Assessment (Track Chair: Prof. Kim, Jungtae, Ph.D, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, President of Korean Association of Multimedia-Assisted Language Learning)
2. Certificate for Coaching for English Learning. (Track Chair: Prof. Cho, Young Woo, Ph.D., University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, former Vice-President of Korean Association of Multimedia-Assisted Language Learning, professional coach)
