The tournament will run in an Asian parliamentary debate format, which means there will be 3 people on a team.

[ANNOUNCEMENT!] The SDC Fall 2022 date has been moved to December 3rd and the registration deadline has been moved to December 1st.

SolBridge Debate Society is excited to announce that registration for the SolBridge Debate Championship (SDC) Fall 2022 has been opened.

SDC is a debate tournament for SolBridge students hosted every semester. The tournament aims to challenge SolBridge students to showcase their public speaking, analyzing, and critical thinking skills.

This semester, SDC will be held on December 3rd in British Parliamentary format.

Coming to SDC, you can gain valuable and memorable experience in debate and precious gifts from the organizers.
Don’t hesitate, as the cap slot for this tournament is 16 teams. So don’t miss out on your chance!

Do you want to get fame, certificate and…

debate experience?

Then register to the SDS Fall debate championship! You don’t need any experience or a high GPA to enter. Just fill out a Google form and take a friend as a teammate to join.

The championship will take place in Zoom at
Nov. 10th (Wed.), 19:00 - 21:00
Nov. 12th (Fri.), 17:00 - 19:00
Nov. 17th (Wed.), 19:00 - 21:00
Nov. 19th (Fri.), 17:00 - 21:00
The format is British Parliamentary, you need a team of 2.

You don’t need any debate background. We will deliver you several workshops to discuss rules and challenges of debate to help you to create the most persuasive speeches.
