We would like to inform to KAIST members who concern about the suspention of KAIST ID related to TB test.

ㅇ KAIST Clinic will provide opportunities and information about the test schedules and notices before ID suspension.

ㅇ You don't need to take this test and not a cadidate for TB test, if you don't receive an email notice about this test.

ㅇ If you have any question about TB or test, feel free to ask us on the TB Q&A board at the KAIST Clinic website.

After the first tuberculosis patient found in KAIST last year, KAIST clinic has been doing its best to stop the spread of the disease by cooperating with the Korea Center of Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) and Yu-seong Local Health Center.

In spite of the continuous call for TB test, some of TB test candidates have not undergo the test(X-ray, TB skin test, etc.). For safety of all members, from the next examination, the school decided to suspend the gate pass function of KAIST IDof whom do not receive the test.

KAIST Clinic will provide opportunities and information about the test schedules and notices before the school suspends KAIST IDs. You don't need to take this test, if you don't receive an email notice. After the blockage, you can recover your ID, but some duration can be caused. We recommend you to be alert about the messages from clinic and take the test on time for yourself and the safety of all members.
