🔥Voting for the Business and Economics College Student

❤️Council election will be held from Monday to Thursday 6pm.

- The student council is a self-governing organization that represents the students. In Korean universities, student council culture is prominent.

- The student council carries out activities such as conveying students' voices to the school and taking responsibility for welfare.

🔥 If the student council is established, it will be possible to listen to and convey the opinions of foreign students to the school.

In order for the student council to have such rights, they must be elected through voting.

⭐The voting participation rate must pass 50%, so it's crucial that all the international students in the Business & Economic School vote.

👏Therefore, please participate in voting during this period.

2. How to Withdraw : by the online portal system

3. Course Withdrawal Process and Notes

A. After logging into the Portal (https://portal.sejong.ac.kr/jsp/login/uisloginSSL.jsp), click “Class/Grade(Course) >Course Registration >Course Withdrawal Application/Cancellation”on the left menu and withdraw the relevant course(s).

B. Once your application is submitted, it will be shown in the withdrawn courses and you can cancel the withdrawal before it gets approved.

C. Application will be approved after Tue, Mar 28, 17:00 and cancellation shall not be accepted after the approval.

D. You must check the withdrawal results in the“Course History Inquiry”after the approval. If you repeat the withdrawal application and cancellation process, you may be marked as absent due to the immediate change to the attendance sheet and the Location-based Smart Attendance Check-in System. Please plan your withdrawal in advance and apply with caution.

E. You cannot withdraw a course if it leaves you with under six credits (three credits for the final semester).

F. You cannot withdraw courses that are automatically enrolled for you by the University.

G. If you withdraw a course, you cannot enroll in additional courses. You should consider the minimum required credits for scholarship and credits for graduation.

H. Any idle credits due to your course withdrawal will not be carried over (Please note that we apply the credit carry-forward system during course add/drop periods).

I. We strongly recommend you to proceed the course enrollment/withdrawal with a personal computer rather than a cellular phone to minimize any possible errors.

- Our department is going to design our business administration's varsity jacket.

- The price for the jacket is 53,000 won including the delivery fee.

- Due to confusion, we decided to deliver all jackets individually.

- The deadline for ordering the jacket and transferring the amount of money is this Thursday, March 23rd, at 4 p.m.

- If you want to order the jacket, 1) please visit our department(광개토관 3층), 2) pay the cash(53,000 won) and 3)write your information(your name, student ID, size, and address).

- If you don't pay the cash, we cannot receive your order.

▶ Course Withdrawal Period
1) Period 1 : After the course enrollment period
2) Period 2 : After the course modification/confirmation period

▶Credit Acquisition
1) You may take from 6 credits (3 if it is your last semester) up to 18 credits per semester.

2) If you have acquired more than 16 credits and received B+ (3.5) in the previous semester, you may take up to 21 credits per semester.

3) Students who apply for a scholarship must acquire at least 15 credits per semester (except for the Seniors: at least 10 credits per semester).

▶ Re-taking Courses
If you need to re-take courses, remember that there are two or more courses that have different names but teach the same content. You can re-take offline or online courses without distinction. You can go to the Course Registration System page and check the list of the same or alternative courses. If you try to enroll in the same course you have already taken, a 'Re-enrollment' popup will appear on your screen.

Guide to Registration in the 1st Semester of the 2023 Academic Year

International students are not allowed to pay a tuition by split payments.

You can apply for a double major from 11/1(Tue) to 11/10(Thu).



-Student Application : 11.1(Tue) 10:00 ~ 11.10(Thu)

apply at the Sejong portal and print an application form

-Department Acceptance : 11.1(Tue) 10:00 ~ 11.11(Fri)

submit to the office of wished major


-Students who have taken over 2 semesters

-Students taking off cannot apply for it.

3. Submit your documents to the office of wished major

(application form & transcript)

4. must be interviewed during the notified period

Hello

This is IBBA TA.



As I sent you an e-mail yesterday, the period of demand survey will be opened from next Monday.



But here is an unfortunate news.

I checked the office of Daeyang Humanity College.

And they said all the Liberal Art courses are not available to be opened in winter or summer semesters.

So, you cannot register Liberal Art Electives 1 courses.

I am sorry that I cannot handle this problem.



As liberal art courses do not affect your graduation condition, it would not be opened according to the university regulations.



You can register other courses which are not in Liberal arts and Major required.

Then, please complete a form and send it to the supervising departments from next Monday(10.24).
