2026 Summer Graduation Ceremony

성균관대학교 행정학과·국정전문대학원은 8월 25일(화), 인문사회과학캠퍼스 600주년기념관에서 ‘2026년 여름 학위수여식’을 개최했다.

이번 학위수여식에서는 학사 23명, 석사 5명, 박사 8명이 학위를 수여 받았으며, 성적우수상·우수논문상·공로상 등 다양한 부문에서 우수한 성과를 거둔 학생들에 대한 시상도 진행됐다.

이날 행사에는 정문기 국정전문대학원장을 비롯해 이승혁 부원장, 전희정 행정학과장, 박형준 교수 등 교수진이 참석했다. 또한 이명수 국정전문대학원 총동문회장, 배재용 총동문회 사무처장, 소병우 전 국정연구원장, 김상수 국정연구원 이사장 등 내빈도 함께해 졸업생들의 앞날을 축하했다.

정문기 원장은 축사를 통해 학위 취득을 위해 노력해 온 졸업생들을 격려하고 새로운 출발을 축하했다. 이어 이명수 총동문회장은 내빈 축사를 통해 졸업생들이 그동안 쌓아온 학문적 성과와 경험을 바탕으로 각자의 분야에서 역량을 발휘해 나가기를 기원했다.

행정학과와 국정전문대학원은 이번 학위수여식을 통해 새로운 출발을 맞은 졸업생들이 그동안 쌓아온 전문성과 연구 역량을 바탕으로 공공부문과 사회 각 분야에서 활약하며 국정 운영과 지역사회 발전에 기여하기를 기대하고 있다.

The Department of Public Administration and the Graduate School of Governance (GSG) at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) held the 2026 Summer Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, August 25, at the 600th Anniversary Hall on the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus.

At the ceremony, degrees were conferred upon 41 graduates, including 22 bachelor’s, 5 master’s, and 14 doctoral degree recipients. Students who demonstrated outstanding achievements were also recognized with various awards, including Academic Excellence Awards, Outstanding Thesis Awards, and Contribution Awards.

The ceremony was attended by faculty members, including Professor Moon-Gi Jeong, Dean of the Graduate School of Governance; Professor Seung-Hyuk Lee, Vice Dean; Professor Hee-Jung Jeon, Chair of the Department of Public Administration; and Professor Hyung-Jun Park. Distinguished guests, including Myung-Soo Lee, President of the GSG Alumni Association; Jae-Yong Bae, Secretary-General of the Alumni Association; Byung-Woo So, former President of the Institute of Governance; and Sang-Soo Kim, Chairman of the Institute of Governance, also joined the ceremony to celebrate the graduates and their new beginnings.

In his congratulatory remarks, Dean Moon-Gi Jeong commended the graduates for their dedication and achievements and congratulated them on reaching this important milestone. Myung-Soo Lee, President of the GSG Alumni Association, also delivered congratulatory remarks, expressing his hope that the graduates would build on the knowledge and experience gained at SKKU and demonstrate their capabilities in their respective fields.

The Department of Public Administration and the Graduate School of Governance look forward to seeing the graduates apply the expertise and research capabilities they have developed at SKKU to contribute to public governance, their communities, and society at large.

[International Life at SKKU] “Books, Parties, and Love” Imas Cempaka Mulia, an alumna from Indonesia

Now a lecturer at Universitas Indonesia, Mulia continues to draw on the knowledge and experience she gained while pursuing her Master of Public Administration at Sungkyunkwan University’s Graduate School of Governance. [외국인의 성대생활] "책, 파티, 그리고 사랑" 인도네시아에서 온, 이마스 물리아 동문

배경이나 직함에 관계없이 모두가 동등하게 존중받아야 한다는 믿음. 인도네시아 대학교에서 학생들을 가르치는 이마스 쳄파카 물리아(Imas Cempaka Mulia) 동문이 삶에서 가장 중요하게 여기는 가치다. 성균관대학교 국정전문대학원에서 행정학 석사 과정을 밟으며 쌓은 배움은 지금도 그의 강의실 안에서 이어지고 있다. 자카르타에서 서울까지, 그리고 다시 강단으로 이어진 그의 이야기를 들어보았다.

성균관대학교 인문사회 융합인재양성사업단(HUSS)과 한국국정관리학회는 인구구조 변화라는 시대적 과제에 대학(원)생의 정책적 상상력과 학술적 분석이 어우러질 수 있도록 아래와 같이 공모전을 개최합니다.

🫶🎁설 앞두고 박찬권 기부자(행정61) 전북 전주 자택 방문해 감사의 뜻 전하다: 박찬권 동문(행정61), 우리 대학에 1억 5천만원 기부 🎁University Visits Alumnus Chan-kwon Park (Public Administration ’61) at His Jeonju Residence Ahead of Lunar New Year; Park Donates KRW 150 Million to the 성균관대학교-Sungkyunkwan University

🫶우리 대학은 설 명절을 앞두고 지난해에 이어 박찬권 기부자(행정61)의 전라북도 전주 자택을 방문해, 지속적인 사랑과 후원에 대한 존경과 감사의 뜻을 전했다. 이번 방문은 박찬권 기부자가 지난 2025년 2월 행정학과발전기금 5,000만 원을 기부한 이후, 학교에서 자택을 찾아 인사를 전한 데 이은 2년 연속 감사 방문이다. 감사 방문에는 최재붕 발전협력단장(전 부총장)(기계83)이 박찬권 기부자를 예방한 후 설 선물세트와 공덕패를 증정하였다.

🫶박찬권 기부자는 1942년생으로 본교 행정학과 61학번 출신이며, ㈜제일여객자동차 대표이사 회장을 역임하고 현재는 총동창회 자문위원으로 활동 중이다. 특히 지난 1월에는 ‘1398대학발전기금’ 1억 원과 ‘행정학과발전기금’ 5,000만 원 등 총 1억 5천만 원을 추가로 기부하며, 모교에 대한 깊은 애정을 다시 한 번 보여주었다.

🫶최재붕 발전협력단장은“학교로 모시고 싶었지만, 대선배이신 기부자님을 직접 찾아뵙는 것이 더 의미 있다고 생각했다”며 “물리적인 거리는 떨어져있어도 마음으로 학교를 늘 생각해주시는 기부자님 덕분에 우리 대학의 오늘과 내일이 있다”고 말했다.

🫶이에 박찬권 기부자는 “학교에서 직접 찾아와 주셔서 오히려 제가 더 감사하다”며 “후학들이 더 좋은 환경에서 공부할 수 있다면 그것만으로도 큰 행복이고, 힘이 닿는 데까지 모교의 발전을 응원하겠다”고 소감을 전했다.

🫶박찬권 기부자는 2003년 기숙사건립기금 100만 원을 시작으로 지금까지 총 4억5천6백여만 원에 달하는 기부금을 모교에 전달했다. 행정학과발전기금, 1398대학발전기금, 성균노벨상기금, 글로벌성균장학재단 장학기금 등 기부 분야 또한 폭넓어, 교육·연구·학생 지원 전반에 큰 힘이 되고 있다.

🫶본교는 앞으로도 기부자의 뜻을 소중히 새기며, 나눔의 가치를 캠퍼스 전반에 확산시키기 위한 다양한 감사 프로그램을 지속해 나갈 계획이다.

🫶Ahead of the Lunar New Year, the University paid a courtesy visit to Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, home of Chan-kwon Park (Public Administration ’61), to convey its sincere appreciation for his continued generosity and steadfast support. The visit marked the second consecutive year the University has personally visited Mr. Park’s residence to express gratitude, following his KRW 50 million (approximately $37,000) contribution to the Department of Public Administration Development Fund in February 2025.

🫶The delegation was led by Jae-boong Choi, Vice President for Development and External Relations (Mechanical Engineering ’83). During the visit, Vice President Choi presented Mr. Park with a Lunar New Year gift and a plaque of appreciation in recognition of his philanthropic leadership.

🫶Born in 1942, Mr. Park is a member of the Class of 1961 in the Department of Public Administration. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Jeil Passenger Transportation Co., Ltd., and currently serves as an advisor to the University Alumni Association.

🫶In January of this year, he reaffirmed his commitment to his alma mater with an additional combined gift of KRW 150 million (approximately $112,000), including KRW 100 million to the “1398 University Development Fund” and KRW 50 million to the Department of Public Administration Development Fund.

🫶“Although we had hoped to welcome him to campus, we felt it was more meaningful to visit such a distinguished senior alumnus in person,” said Vice President Choi. “Even when physical distance separates us, donors like Mr. Park—who consistently hold the University close to their hearts—make both our present and our future possible.”

🫶Mr. Park expressed his gratitude for the visit, stating, “I am truly thankful that the University came to see me. Knowing that future generations can study in a better environment brings me great satisfaction. I will continue to support my alma mater for as long as I am able.”

🫶Mr. Park began his philanthropic support in 2003 with a KRW 1 million gift to the Dormitory Construction Fund. Since then, he has contributed approximately KRW 456 million (about $340,000) to the University. His giving has supported a broad range of initiatives, including the Department of Public Administration Development Fund, the 1398 University Development Fund, the Sungkyun Nobel Prize Fund, and scholarship programs through the Global Sungkyun Scholarship Foundation. His generosity has strengthened the University’s efforts in education, research, and student support.

🫶The University plans to continue honoring the spirit of its donors while expanding appreciation initiatives that promote a culture of philanthropy across campus.
