Hardware interface and functional checkup before assembly to make sure everything is okay. Everything was not okay due to noisy harnesses near the breadboard.

조립 전 하드웨어 인터페이스 및 기능 점검을 수행합니다. 빵판 주위 노이즈 때문에 몇몇 민감 부품들은 정상적으로 작동하지 않았습니다.

SNUSAT-I is undergoing its final hardware preparation for the upcoming Flight Model Verification Tests. Reaction Wheel (RW) here seen mounted on the XY plane MTQ PCB developed here at the CubeSat Research Center.

SNUSAT-1는 현재 발사를 앞두고 마지막 비행검증 테스트를 준비하고 있습니다. 사진은 인공위성의 자세제어에 사용될 4축 반작용휠 (Reaction Wheel)이 서울대학교 큐브위성 연구센터에서 자체 개발한 PCB형 자기토커(Magnetorquer) 위에 장착된 모습입니다.

[SNUSAT Update]

50 Satellites will be launched within the QB50 project. Before the actual mission begins, a precursor flight is being conducted to verify everything is working fine for the payload and sensors. The precursor flight is planned to be at 14, June, 2014 on the Dnepr

The FIPEX Sensor which will be on board SNUSAT-1 is the red sensor on the left.

SNUSAT-1호가 참여하고 있는 QB50 프로젝트에는 50여개의 인공위성이 함께 발사됩니다.

이전에 각 위성에 올라가는 센서 및 탑재체(payload)들이 제대로 작동하는지 검증하기 위해 두대의 인공위성이 먼저 발사되는데요, 이것을 precursor flight이라고 합니다. Precursor Flight은 2014년 6월 19일에 Dnepr 로켓에 실려서 발사될 예정입니다.

SNUSAT에 탑재되는 FIPEX센서는 왼쪽 위성에 장착되어 있는 적색 센서입니다.

[Day in the life of SNUSAT]

It is saturday, and Ji hyun Park is working on the operating system of the satellite. SNUSAT-1 uses a FreeRTOS for it's main operating system. The work is done in the clean room to prevent contamination of the main OBC.

토요일인데도, 박지현 학생이 위성의 OS를 개발하는 작업을 진행중입니다. SNUSAT 1호 에서는 FreeRTOS를 주OS로 사용합니다. OBC를 먼지와 같은 오염원으로부터 보호하기 위해서 클린룸에서 방진복을 착용하고 작업을 진행중입니다.
