On September 28, 2026, we conducted a campus tour for students from Umtum School.

Starting at the Han Kyung-chik Memorial Hall, we introduced major buildings across campus all the way to the White Horse Statue.

Despite the warm weather, the students listened attentively throughout the tour.

2026년 9월 28일, 움틈학교 학생들을 대상으로 캠퍼스 투어를 진행했습니다.

한경직기념관에서 출발하여 백마상까지 캠퍼스 전반의 주요 건물들을 소개해 드렸습니다.

날씨가 더웠음에도 불구하고, 학생들은 투어 내내 경청하며 집중해 주었습니다.

On September 21, 2026, 17 students from Japan participating in a short-term Korean language program visited Soongsil University.

The campus tour started at Dasom Hall in Jeonsan Hall, where we introduced them to their classrooms, student cafeterias, and various convenience facilities on campus. The tour concluded with a commemorative photo at the White Horse Statue.

We hope the visiting students enjoy their time on campus to the fullest. May this tour serve as a valuable foundation for a rewarding Korean language learning experience at Soongsil.

2026년 9월 21일, 본교 단기 한국어 교육 프로그램에 참여하는 17명의 일본 학생들이 숭실대학교를 방문해 캠퍼스 투어에 참여했습니다.

투어는 전산관 다솜홀에서 시작되었으며, 학생들이 이용할 강의실과 교류 장소를 비롯해 학생 식당, 우체국 등 교내 주요 편의 시설 전반을 소개하는 일정으로 진행되었습니다. 투어의 마지막은 백마상 앞에서 다 함께 기념 사진을 촬영하며 마무리되었습니다.

숭실대학교는 일본에서 온 학생분들의 새로운 시작을 환영합니다. 뜻깊은 시간이 되었기를 바라며, 이번 캠퍼스 투어가 앞으로의 즐거운 한국어 학습 생활을 위한 탄탄한 발판으로 자리 잡기를 기원합니다.

On September 18, the former President and professors of Ghent University visited Soongsil University.

During their visit, they explored Soongsil’s engineering buildings and Christian Museum, as well as classrooms where our students attend lectures.
It was a meaningful and rewarding experience to have the opportunity to introduce the history of Soongsil University and share various parts of our campus with our distinguished guests.

We look forward to continuing the exchange between Soongsil University and Ghent University, and we kindly ask for your continued interest and support in the activities of SIA.

On September 18, 2026, youth from North Korean backgrounds visited Soongsil University. We gave them a campus tour and guided them through Soongsil University’s Christian Museum.

The campus tour began at the White Horse Statue, followed by visits to various campus facilities and landmarks, including the Student Union Building, Baird Hall, and Hyungnam Engineering Building. We introduced the students to the university’s history, facilities, and major buildings.

The students showed particular interest in the artifacts on the third floor of the Christian Museum. As students currently attending schools in South Korea, they were familiar with many of the artifacts and were able to recognize and relate to them.

We kindly ask for your continued interest and support in providing educational opportunities and meaningful experiences for youth from North Korean backgrounds, as well as their continued growth and development.

2026년 9월 18일, 탈북 배경 청소년들이 숭실대학교를 방문했습니다. 우리는 이들을 대상으로 캠퍼스 투어를 진행하고 한국기독교박물관을 안내했습니다.

캠퍼스 투어는 백마상에서 시작되어 학생회관, 베어드홀, 형남공학관 등 주요 건물과 다양한 교내 시설을 둘러보는 코스로 이어졌습니다. 학생들에게 숭실대학교의 역사와 시설, 주요 건축물들을 소개하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

학생들은 특히 한국기독교박물관 3층에 전시된 유물들에 깊은 관심을 보였습니다. 현재 한국의 학교에 재학 중인 학생들인 만큼, 교과 과정 등을 통해 접해본 유물들을 직접 알아보며 친숙하게 공감하는 모습을 보여주었습니다.

탈북 배경 청소년들이 앞으로도 지속적으로 성장하고 발전하며, 폭넓은 교육 기회와 뜻깊은 경험을 누릴 수 있도록 여러분의 따뜻한 관심과 지속적인 응원을 부탁드립니다.

On September 17th, the International President of Global Leadership University visited Soongsil University.

He listened attentively to the campus tour and showed great interest in overall aspects of Soongsil University.

He took a close look at the campus buildings, asking questions about Baird Hall which is the headquarter of our university and the Hankyeongjik Memorial Hall where students attend chapel and lectures, and was deeply impressed by Soongsil University's Christian values.

On September 15, 2026, representatives from China’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security visited Soongsil University.
We gave them a campus tour.

The tour started at the White Horse Statue, where we introduced them to Soongsil’s history, facilities, and major buildings.

They showed particular interest in Soongsil’s festival culture.

We hope this visit provided a meaningful opportunity to learn more about Soongsil University and promote continued exchange and cooperation.

2026년 9월 15일, 중국 인력자원사회보장부 대표단이 숭실대학교를 방문해 캠퍼스 투어에 참여했습니다.

투어는 교내 백마상 앞에서 시작되었으며, 숭실의 역사와 주요 시설, 캠퍼스 전반을 소개하는 일정으로 진행되었습니다. 대표단은 특히 숭실대의 대학 축제 문화에 각별한 관심을 나타냈습니다.

숭실대학교는 이번 방문이 본교를 깊이 이해하는 계기가 됨은 물론, 향후 지속적인 교류와 상호 협력의 발판이 되기를 기대하고 있습니다.

On September 14, we conducted a campus tour for a Japanese student considering undergraduate studies at Soongsil University and the student’s parent.

Since the student was highly interested in studying at a university in Korea, we were able to focus our explanation on Soongsil University’s campus and international admissions system.

During the tour, we explored the campus as a whole and visited the dormitories and cafeterias that the student would use after enrolling. In particular, we showed the student classrooms where classes were in session, allowing them to experience the atmosphere of a Korean university firsthand.

At the dormitories, we showed them the cafeteria, convenience store, and fitness center, and explained that the dormitories are operated separately for male and female residents. We also introduced spaces for studying and relaxation, and the campus gift shop.

Thanks to the student and their mother’s attentive interest, we were able to complete the campus tour smoothly.

Moving forward, SIA will continue to do its best to encourage more international students to choose Soongsil University for their studies.

2026년 9월 14일, 숭실대학교 학부 진학을 고려 중인 일본인 학생과 학생의 보호자를 대상으로 캠퍼스 투어를 진행하였습니다.
한국 대학교 유학에 대해 관심이 많은 학생이셨기 때문에, 숭실대학교의 캠퍼스 및 유학 시스템을 중심으로 설명해드릴 수 있었습니다.

투어 중에는 학교 캠퍼스를 전체적으로 돌아보면서, 학생이 입학 시 사용하게 될 기숙사와 식당 등을 살펴볼 수 있었습니다. 특히, 건물 내부에 수업중인 강의실을 보여드리며 한국 대학의 분위기를 실감할 수 있게끔 해드렸습니다.

기숙사에서는 기숙사 식당, 편의점, 헬스장 등을 보여드렸으며, 기숙사가 남녀를 구분하여 운영되고 있다는 점도 설명해드렸습니다. 이외에도 휴식 및 공부 공간, 교내 기념품숍 등을 소개해드렸습니다.

학생과 어머님의 적극적인 경청 덕분에 캠퍼스 투어를 순조롭게 마무리할 수 있었습니다.
앞으로도 더 많은 외국인 학생들이 숭실대학교를 선택할 수 있도록 SIA는 최선을 다하겠습니다.

On September 9th, representatives from IES Global (SAF) visited Soongsil University.
They listened attentively throughout the campus tour and showed great interest in Soongsil University as a whole. They took a close look at the campus buildings, and we shared conversations about the large-scale Hyeongnam Engineering Building and the White Horse Statue, a symbol of our university.
Thanks to them, I was able to continue the campus tour in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

On September 7, a United Nations official visited Soongsil University.

During the visit, we had the honor of touring the Museum of Korean Christianity at Soongsil University. We also discussed Hangul, the Korean writing system, and its unique features.

It was a meaningful opportunity to introduce both the history of Soongsil University and the rich heritage of Korea.

We kindly ask for your continued interest in and support for the exchange and collaboration between Soongsil University and the United Nations, as well as the activities of SIA.

On September 7, we conducted a campus tour for a Japanese student considering studying as an undergraduate at Soongsil University and the student’s parent.
Since the student was interested in studying in Korea, we were able to focus our explanation on the university’s international admissions and study-abroad system.

During the tour, we visited the university’s three cafeterias, dormitories, and the Korean Language Institute building.
In particular, we introduced the classes taking place at the Language Institute in real time, allowing the student and their parent to gain a closer look at the environment Soongsil University provides for international students.

At the dormitories, we showed them the cafeteria, convenience store, and fitness center, and explained that the dormitories are operated separately for male and female residents. We also introduced the university’s classrooms, spaces for studying and relaxation, and the campus gift shop.
