Meet Professor Sean Giblin, Professor of Physics at Cardiff University. 👨‍🔬

Professor Giblin teaches quantum mechanics and conducts research into quantum phenomena at ultra-low temperatures. ❄️

He also coordinates the STEM pathway of the Foundation Year, helping students develop the skills they need to progress successfully to further university study. 💡

Professor Giblin was particularly impressed by the students in Kazakhstan – their curiosity, enthusiasm for learning, and openness to new ideas. In his words, meeting so many passionate and engaged students was one of the most rewarding aspects of his visit. 🧑‍🎓

for a Pizza Party to wrap up Induction Week. 🍕

The evening was filled with conversation,
laughter and, of course, plenty of pizza! ❤️

🎶 The event concluded with a concert by members
of the Music Club, who shared their music with fellow students.
