NextGen AI: A Journey into AI" Workshop
සාර්ථකව අවසන් විය! 🎉
අම්පාර දිස්ත්රික්කයේ A/L සිසුන් සඳහා පළමු වතාවට සිංහල මාධ්යයෙන් නැගෙනහිර පලාතේ නොමිලේ පැවැත්වූ කෘත්රිම බුද්ධි (AI) වැඩමුළුව ජුනි 2, 2025 දින අම්පාර හාඩි උසස් තාක්ෂණ ආයතන ශ්රවණාගාරයේදී, සාර්ථකව පවත්වනු ලැබීය.
මෙම වැඩමුළුව, Hardy ATI හි තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ අධ්යනාංශයේ T.H. දිනුෂා දර්ශනී කථිකාචාර්යතුමියගේ ඉල්ලීමකට අනුව,
පේරාදෙණිය විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ Multidisciplinary AI Research Centre (MARC) හි මහාචාර්යවරුන් පිරිසක් විසින් පවත්වනු ලැබූ අතර,
Hardy ATI හි, තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ අධ්යනාංශයේ පලමු වසර සිසුන්, මෙවර මානව වටිනාකම් ව්යාපෘතිය පදනම් කරගෙන, දිනුෂා දර්ශනී කථිකාචාර්යතුමියගේ පූර්ණ මගපෙන්වීම හා අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ සංවිධානය කරන ලදී.

කෘත්රිම බුද්ධිය පිළිබඳ දැනුම සහ අදහස්
පාසල් සිසුන්ට ලබාදීම අරමුණු කර ගත් මෙම වැඩමුළුව පේරාදෙණිය විශ්වවිද්යාලයයේ මහාචාර්යවරුන් 8 දෙනෙකු ඇතුළු විශේෂඥයන් 20 දෙනෙකුගේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් පවත්වන ලදී.
🏆 වැඩමුළුවෙන් පසු පවත්වන ලද අන්තර් පාසල් තරඟය - Inter-School Question & Answer Competition 🏆
මෙම වැඩමුළුවේදී ඉගෙන ගන්නාලද අන්තර්ගතය පදනම්ව අන්තර් පාසල් තරඟයක් ද සංවිධානය කරන ලදී. අම්පාර දිස්ත්රික්කයේ ප්රසිද්ධ පාසල් 7 ක් (DS Senanayake, Bandaranayaka Girls', Saddhathissa, Kawanthissa, Gamini, Polwaththa & Uhana National Scools) එක්වූ අතර, එක් පාසලකින් සිසුන් තිදෙනෙකු මෙම තරඟයට සහභාගී විය.
🥇 1 වන ස්ථානය – අම්/ සද්ධාතිස්ස ජාතික පාසල
🥈 2 වන ස්ථානය – අම්/ DS සේනානායක ජාතික පාසල
🥉 3 වන ස්ථානය –අම්/ ගාමිණි ජාතික පාසල

ජයග්රහණය කළ පාසල්වලට කුසලාන ලබාදුන් අතර, 1, 2 සහ 3 වන ස්ථාන හිමි වූ සිසුන්ට වටිනා සහතිකපත්ර ප්රදානය කරන ලදී.
නැගෙනහිර පළාතේ තරුණ පරපුර නව තාක්ෂණයෙන් සූදානම් කිරීම සඳහා හාඩි උසස් තාක්ෂණ ආයතනයේ, තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ අධ්යනාංශය විසින් ගෙන ගිය තවත් දැවැන්ත පියවරකි මෙය!
🎉 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop – "NextGen AI: A Journey into AI" Successfully Concluded! 🎉
For the very first time in the Eastern Province, a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) workshop conducted in Sinhala medium for A/L students in the Ampara District was successfully held on June 2, 2025, at the Hardy Advanced Technological Institute Auditorium, Ampara.
Organized in response to a proposal by T.H. Dinusha Darshani, Lecturer in the Department of Information Technology at Hardy ATI, this special workshop was conducted by a team of professors from the Multidisciplinary AI Research Centre (MARC) of the University of Peradeniya.
The event was organized as a Human Values Project by first-year students of the IT Department of Hardy ATI under the full guidance and supervision of Lecturer Dinusha Darshani.
🧠 Special Workshop – "NextGen AI: A Journey into AI"
This workshop aimed to equip school students with knowledge and insights into Artificial Intelligence. It featured the participation of over 20 experts, including 8 professors from the University of Peradeniya.
🏆 Inter-School Question & Answer Competition 🏆
An Inter-School Quiz Competition based on the content covered in the workshop was also held. Seven leading schools in the Ampara District participated:
DS Senanayake National School
Bandaranayaka Girls' National School
Saddhathissa National School
Kawanthissa National School
Gamini National School
Polwaththa National School
Uhana National School
Each school was represented by a team of three students.

Trophies were awarded to the winning schools, and valuable certificates were presented to the students who secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
This workshop marks a significant milestone by the Department of Information Technology at Hardy ATI in empowering the youth of the Eastern Province with cutting-edge technological knowledge and preparing them for the future!
