On 27th May 2026, Uva Wellassa University proudly marked a groundbreaking achievement with IMPETUS 2026 – International Conference on Computing, Engineering, and Technology, becoming the University’s first-ever international conference featuring DOI-assigned full paper proceedings. 🚀📚

Under the inspiring theme “Humanity First: Steering Innovation for Ethical Impact,” IMPETUS 2026 brought together brilliant minds from across the globe to share knowledge, foster innovation, and collaborate on research-driven solutions for global challenges. 🌟

The conference received an impressive 162 research paper submissions from scholars representing Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Australia, Bangladesh, Singapore, Germany, and the USA. Following a rigorous review process, 40 outstanding full papers were selected for publication in the official conference proceedings. ✨
