After school education, students continue to pursue their education in institutes of higher learning centres. In the hill country, a large number of students are selected by private higher educational institutes and vocational schools for higher education. Especially for most of the economic reasons, today most of the students are observable to follow the part-time courses. It is a challenging subject with a little bit of practice and statistics. The reason is that today the Institutes that offer higher education in any organizational structure are dull.
The status of other high quality scholars except students previously enrolled in national universities and academic colleges are questionable. But due to increased competitiveness and student curiosity in the contemporary period, private universities have provided opportunities for gambling.
The definition of state universities was based on physical resources, personal courses, and the need for private universities in addition to state universities to cover the needs of the country's graduates. The impact of foreign universities entering the country for this purpose has been much talked in recent times. In the past, Indian universities have graduated degrees in the Upper Country. Particularly Azhagappa University, Madurai Kamarajah University and Indira Gandhi University are important. Students who continue to graduate from these universities are most likely to receive teacher appointments today.
About one lakh students are being enrolled in the study of statistics related to national universities. In this regard contribution of up country students is 1.5%. In such a situation, Indian universities were viewed as a boon. Most of the Hill Country students enrolled in Indian universities, especially with an affordable fee of Rs. 60000 students were given degrees.
Initially questions were raised about the quality of these universities, but later the University Grants Commission informed that these universities are recognized. Up-country politicians also issued media reports and provided their contribution to the society. However criticisms were presented by various parties regarding their courses, teaching methods and exam sittings.
State school teachers held lectures in private classes in cities. The exams were similar. However, students who completed the course have received teacher appointments. The politicians in this place provided the key during the appointments. Appointments for schools were decided with political interventions.
The course subjects that are known as 06 semesters in national universities for nearly 03 years are completed in just two years in Indian universities. Many have not concealed conclusions about this because their society was highly benefited. However, none of the other faculties, such as development and public administration were given to students who have completed their degree. This shows the narrow mind-set of the majority of the population and the marginalization of the minorities.
If the degree is equivalent to the state universities, it should also be eligible for all departments. However, those who have been appointed for their professions are the primary school teachers. However, it is ridiculous that they have a high-profile directory, such as the Batchelor of Arts (BA), B.Sc., B.Com and B.Ed. degrees.
These mockers are only unleashed by the politicians. Leaving the school education to meet the standards of national education and get quality low-privileged higher education opportunities. By this we cannot cross some definitions. The Upcountry Leadership is well aware that this is the subtle nucleus of the Upcountry Society under other ethnic groups by keeping the education of Tamils in a poor quality. That is their expectation.
Recently, the ousting of Al-Mustafa University, the Iranian International University, initiated by a politician in Uva Province, Around 500 students were being the victims as they have involved in the terrorist attack and the initiative was a politician in upcountry. Here is the reality that life of 500 students have been sacrificed in politicians' polling.
Al-Mustafa University is an international university. Iran is the headquarters and this university branches in various countries offers degree programmes. Similarly this university has offered to grant degrees for 500 students free of charge in Sri Lanka. However, no university should run against a country’s sovereignty. It cannot be done to promote fundamentalism or secession or to impose specific religious views.
Normally, if a food item is imported from abroad, its quality, price and valuations are determined by the Public Utilities Commission. So can a university come into the country arbitrarily? The University Grants Commission has to accept all responsibilities.
Because of the proposal of a politician, students joined the University with confidence. The school principal, teachers and lecturers held lectures. It is therefore pretty clear that this is definitely the state recognition. However, the community is fooled when it is rejected by a Politician in their society and when he stated that this university is not recognized by UGC. The politicians who show themselves as intelligent are aimed at putting up rivalries between them. They present some data as evidence on their behalf.
Politicians do not need to explain what does Al-Mustafa University is or how illegal it is. It should be explained by the subsidy commission based on state administrative structure. The politician who did not need to explain the road to the road as it was brought into the norms. If it is illegal, the politician referring to, he should take legal action against the Grants Commission.
Making a proposal in the provincial council and having a meeting with the journalists around the audience is clearly visible that is to cheat people. These murals are only for the Upcountry. Tea industry workers are now slipping into the students because of the lack of workers. These are the foundations of future political resources.
The grant commission should have restrained the controls, morals, and surveillance on foreign universities. If it is so, then they do not need to stand up for moderate and dependent politicians. But it has been ignored by the point of view of the Hill Country.
In fact, it is impossible to accept the community for political purposes. Students should be clear. The civil organizations and the educational community should take note of these issues. Moreover upcountry offering free degree and distributing free roofing sheets should be seen as the same.
