What happens when design stops being about products, and starts becoming about systems, stories, waste, value, and the future we’re building?

Join Dutch designer Noud Sleumer for Weaving Conversations, a hands-on Design Katha session exploring speculative design through making. Together, participants will transform discarded aluminium cans into woven objects while unpacking ideas around circular systems, informal economies, and material futures.

Day 2 really sealed it.

What started as rough ideas turned into full concepts, and you could see the confidence build in real time. More risk, more detail, more personality in every piece.

Two days, countless ideas, and a whole lot of future designers in the making.

Day 1 came in strong.

From the first sketch to the first “wait this actually works” moment, it was all about exploring, experimenting, and getting comfortable with the process. Ideas were messy, bold, and very real.
