Sulakshana Fernando is an international trainer and a communication specialist who has carried out training programmes in Maldives, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Sulakshana is an innovative and articulate trainer who has interacted with over five thousand individuals over several years through

individual and team development in business communication, leadership, motivation, professional etiquette, language development, personality development, sales training, call centre training, outbound training & training of trainers etc. In addition to training, she has been involved in consultancy projects with several organisations as well. Spanning over 19 years of experience in the private finance sector, her core areas have been Human Resources Administration, Human Resource Development & Industrial Relations. She is a linguist with fluency in English, Sinhala, and Tamil with proficiency in French. Sulakshana Fernando is a Certified Trainer by City & Guilds – United Kingdom, a professional in Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development, with degree in Psychology. Apart from her involvement in many leading corporates of Sri Lanka and offshore in Consulting, Coaching and Training and Development, she is also currently a lecturer at the state Universities of Colombo, Moratuwa, Sri Jayawardenapura, Kelaniya and Peradeniya on Language Development, Public speaking and Soft Skills Development. Ms Fernando is also an external resource person at the BIDTI [Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute-Colombo, the Sri Lanka Administration & Development Authority – Colombo [SLIDA], the Ministry of Public Administration, and the Ministry of Finance and Mass Media. Her organisation Soft Skillz International offers UK Certifications and many professional training, facilitation and consultancy and coaching programmes, which are tailor made for organisations and individuals to suit their needs and cultures. Sulakshana Fernando is one out of thee Licensees in Sri Lanka to conduct and rollout UK certified programmes. Soft Skillz International consists of a panel of certified and experienced Trainers, who are also Consultants and Lecturers, spanning over 20 years of experience in their respective industries. Sulakshana is also a public speaker and a Toastmaster who has competed and won international awards and recognition.
