📌ශ්රී ලංකා සබරගමුව විශ්වවිද්යාලයෙන් ඔබ වෙත පිදෙන සුවිශේෂී වූ උපාධි පාඨමාලා ගොන්නක් අතරින්, ව්යවහාරික විද්යා පීඨය යටතේ පවතින ‘පාරිසරික විද්යාව හා ස්වභාවික සම්පත් කළමනාකරණය’ උපාධි පාඨමාලාවේ අන්තර්ගතය සහ අනාගතයේ මෙම උපාධි පාඨමාලාව අධ්යයනය කිරීම සඳහා අප විශ්වවිද්යාලයට පැමිණීමට නියමිත විද්යාර්ථයන් වෙනුවෙන්, ඒ පිළිබඳව මනා අවබෝධයක් මෙම ලිපිය හරහා ලබාදීම අපගේ අරමුණයි.
📌ශ්රී ලංකා සබරගමුව විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ ව්යවහාරික විද්යා පීඨය යටතේ අධ්යයන අංශ හතරක් පවතින අතර, ස්වභාවික සම්පත් අධ්යයන අංශය යනු ඉන් එකකි.
📌මෙම අධ්යයන අංශය හරහා, ඉහත සඳහන් කළ උපාධි පාඨමාලාව ප්රදානය කරනු ලබයි.
📌ඉංග්රීසි මාධ්යයෙන් පමණක් ඉගැන්වීම් සිදුකෙරෙන මෙය, සිව් අවුරුදු ගෞරව උපාධියක් ලෙස සෘජුවම ප්රදානය කරන අතර, ඔබට කිසිදු විශේෂිත විභාගයක් සඳහා මුහුණ දීමක් හෝ GPA අගය සැලකිල්ලට ගැනීමකින් තොරවම එය හැදෑරීමේ හැකියාව පවතී. නමුත් ඔබගේ කැමැත්ත පරිදි ඔබට එය තුන් අවුරුදු සාමාන්ය උපාධි පාඨමාලාවක් ලෙස වුවද නිම කිරීමේ හැකියාවද ඇත.
📌මෙම උපාධි පාඨමාලාවේ ඇති විශේෂත්වය වනුයේ, මෙය ශ්රී ලංකාවේ වෙනත් කිසිදු රාජ්ය විශ්වවිද්යාලයකින් ප්රදානය නොකරන්නක් වීමයි. එසේම මෙහිදී, සිද්ධාන්ත පිළිබඳව ලබාදෙන අධ්යාපනයට අමතරව, ප්රායෝගික ක්රියාකාරකම් ආශ්රිතව ලබාදෙන අධ්යාපනය සහ ක්ෂේත්ර චාරිකා කෙරෙහිද වැඩි අවධානයක් යොමු කෙරේ.
📌අ.පො.ස උසස් පෙළ විභාගය සඳහා ජීව විද්යා අංශයෙන් පෙනී සිටි ඕනෑම ශිෂ්යයෙක්ට, තමන් හැදෑරු ජීව විද්යාව, රසායන විද්යාව, භෞතික විද්යාව හෝ කෘෂි විද්යාව යන විෂයන් තුන සඳහා සාමාන්ය (S) සාමාර්ථයක් ලබා තිබේ නම්, මෙම උපාධි පාඨමාලාව සඳහා කිසිදු ගැටළුවකින් තොරව අයදුම් කළ හැක.
මෙම පාඨමාලාව මගින් පෙර සඳහන් කළ පරිදි උපාධි දෙකක් පිරිනමයි.

📌මෙම උපාධි පාඨමාලාව හදාරන ඔබට, එය ගෞරව උපාධියක් නම් සිව්වන වසර තුළදීද, සාමාන්ය උපාධියක් නම් තෙවන වසර තුළදීද, ඔබට ඔබගේ විෂය පථයට අදාළව ව පර්යේෂණයක් සිදුකළ යුතුවන අතර, එයට අදාළව ව නිබන්ධනයක්ද ඔබ විසින්ම සකස් කළ යුතුය. තවද ඔබේ කැමැත්ත පරිදි ඔබට කිසියම් ආයතනයක සීමාවාසික පුහුණුවක් ලැබීමේ වරම්ද හිමිවේ. එලෙසම මෙම සිව් වසර තුළ දී ක්ෂේත්ර චාරිකා රැසකට සම්බන්ධ වීමට ද ඔබට අවස්ථාව හිමි වේ.

📌Environmental Sciences and Natural Resource Management degree is one of the unique Sri Lankan degrees offered by the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. This letter aims to provide a comprehensive understanding on this course. It is intended for future students who plan to study this course at the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. This degree program is conducted under the Faculty of Applied Sciences.
📌There are four departments under the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, and the Department of Natural Resources is one of them. This department offers the Environmental Sciences and Natural Resource Management degree program. The course is conducted exclusively in English and is offered as a four-year honors degree without specific criteria or GPA requirements. However, students can also choose to complete it as a three-year general degree. A unique feature of this degree program is that it is not offered by any other government university in Sri Lanka. Additionally, this degree program emphasizes practical activities and field visits alongside the theoretical education.
📌Any student who has taken the Advanced Level Examination in the biology stream and has obtained at least an ordinary pass (S) in any of the three subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Agricultural Science) can apply for this degree course without any issue.
