minations. The period from 1944-1962 was considered as orator and this period was the time of vitality and fame. The collaborative effort of Orator Mr.C.Subramaniam ,Dr.S.Subramaniam (provincial surgon), Visor V.Sivasubramaniam brought this institution to super grade. During this golden period great number student got the entrance to science faculty and the institution was the best spot for education as well as sports in srilanka. Subramaniam all the fame earned was secured by Visor V.Sivasubramaniam until 1969.Then from 1969 till 1997 the following principals reentered their selflees service to skanda respectively Mr.K.Sivakumaran , Mr.P.Ahamparam, Mr.R.Satchichanantham. Mr.T.Thiyagarajah, Mr.P.Nagaratnam, Mr.S.Rasavallavan, Mr.S.Ponnampalam, Mr.P.Vikneswaran and Mr.A.Kamalanathan. From 1998 to 2008 our school was blesses with the principal Mr.K.Sivaji during this period a considerable number of student entered the University to Arts faculty. he successfully conducted the college with the odour of spirituality and culture. He handed over his responsibilities to Mr.A.Thirumugan during his retirement Skanda is included in ISURU scheme and there is a hope development and enhancement continue to remain in hearts of Skanda welwishes.
