ရက္ခပူရဗုဒ္ဓတက္ကသိုလ်၏ ရန်ကုန်ဌာနခွဲတွင် ပါဠိနှင့် ဗုဒ္ဓစာပေ လေ့လာမှုဆိုင်ရာ ဘွဲ့လွန်ဒီပလိုမာ သင်တန်းကို စတင် ဖွင့်လှစ် ပို့ချပေးတော့မည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဤသင်တန်းကို တက်ရောက်ခြင်းဖြင့် ပါဠိဘာသာနှင့် ဗုဒ္ဓတရား အနှစ်သာရ အခြေခံကောင်းများအပြင်၊ မော်ဒန်ခေတ် တွေးခေါ်နားလည်ပုံများနှင့် သုတေသနပညာရပ်ဆိုင်ရာ လုပ်ဆောင်ပုံများကိုပါ မျှတစွာ ကျွမ်းကျင်သွားစေမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ သင်တန်းကို ပြီးဆုံးအောင် တက်ရောက်ပြီးလျှင် ရက္ခပူရဗုဒ္ဓတက္ကသိုလ် သို့မဟုတ် အခြားပညာရေးဌာနများ၌ MA (မဟာဝိဇ္ဇာ) ကဲ့သို့ ပို၍ အဆင့်မြင့်သော ဘွဲ့လွန်ဒီဂရီ သင်တန်းများကို တက်ရောက်နိုင်ရန် လိုအပ်သော အရည်အချင်း ပြည့်မီသွားပါမည်။ ဤသင်တန်းတွင် နယ်ပယ်မတူသော ပညာရပ်များကြား ဆက်စပ်နှိုင်းယှဉ်တွေးမြင်နိုင်စွမ်းကို ထက်မြက်လာစေရန် ပညာရပ်စုံ ယှက်ဖြာ နှီးနော သင်ကြားနည်းကို အသုံးပြု၍ ပို့ချသင်ကြားပေးမည် ဖြစ်ကာ၊ ယုံကြည်မှု မြင့်မားသော, ကိုယ့်အားကိုယ်ကိုး လုပ်ဆောင်တတ်သော သုတေသီများ ဖြစ်လာစေရန် လေ့ကျင့်ပေးသွားပါမည်။

2. လျှောက်ထားသူသည် ဓမ္မာစရိယဘွဲ့ သို့မဟုတ် တက္ကသိုလ်တခုခုမှ ဘီအေဘွဲ့ (သို့မဟုတ် ယင်းတို့နှင့်အလားတူ ပညာရည်သတ်မှတ်ချက်တခု) ရရှိထားရမည်။
3. ဝင်ခွင့်စာမေးပွဲတွင် အင်္ဂလိပ်ဘာသာအရည်အချင်း စစ်ဆေးခံရမည်။ အရည်အချင်း မပြည့်မီပါက တက္ကသိုလ်၌ လိုအပ်သလို မွမ်းမံသင်ယူရမည်။

The Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) programme in Pāli and Buddhist Studies aims to provide our students with a balanced foundation in Pāli, core Buddhist teachings, modernist thinking and academic skills. Upon completing the programme, students will have developed the essential skills required to pursue higher Degree study at RBU or other institutions. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach in order to sharpen the students’ thinking ability across disciplines, we will focus on equipping the students with a strong foundation in academic research skills, thus fostering confident and independent researchers in their fields of study.

Eligibility of Applicants:
1. One who applies for the program must be a Myanmar citizen—monastic member or layperson—and under 35 years of age.
2. Applicants must have completed either a Bachelor's Degree or Dhammacariya Examination—or their equivalent.
3. Applicants must take an English Proficiency Test as the entrance exam, and those who fail the test will have to take a remedial course in the language.
4. No prior knowledge of Pali and Buddhism is required.
Documents Required for Application:
1. Please attach the application form with a recent 1-inch photograph.
2. A Personal Statement (500 words) which clearly explains why you wish to take our programme.
3. Photocopy of Bachelor's Degree or Dhammācariya Certificate or their equivalent.
4. Recommendation Letter from the Abbot of the applicant’s current residing monastery.
5. Photocopy of ID Card.
