📚 Taking Human Resource Management Beyond the Classroom

As part of their Human Resource Management module, Year 1 Semester 2 students of the SCU School of Business visited AIA Insurance Lanka Limited on 11 September 2026.

The industry visit provided students with an opportunity to gain practical exposure to human resource practices within a leading organisation and to connect concepts discussed in the classroom with real-world workplace environments.

Through this experience, students gained valuable insights into the role of Human Resource Management in supporting employees, organisational processes, and workplace development.

A meaningful learning experience that brought theory closer to practice and gave our students a valuable glimpse into the professional world. 🎓✨
