The Gavel Gazette 03: Still Waiting

The 382nd Educational Meeting of Gavel UOC, under the theme “Still Waiting,” was held on the 20th of August and served as a nostalgic reminder of the hopes we once held close to our hearts. ⏳❤️

The TMOD began the meeting by connecting the theme with the gaveliers’ own experiences, and speakers were also encouraged to have strong openings as the Technique of the Day. 🎙️

The Round Robin session created a space to share the dreams still waiting to become true, while the Table Topics session featured enthusiastic speakers sharing their stories, including two Gavel Legends. The meeting concluded with instructive evaluations, a group photograph to capture the moment, and the After Par-Tea. ✨

Some dreams don't die, they just wait for us to look back at them.

There are some dreams we never let go of, and chase with everything we have. And there are others we've quietly moved on from, smiling at how much they once meant.

They live on in old diary entries and half-forgotten promises, reminding us of who we used to be, and who we've become since. 🕰️
