ශ්‍රී ලංකා සාගර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ (Ocean University of Sri Lanka) වෙරළබඩ සම්පත් කළමනාකරණය (Coastal Resource Management - CRM) අධ්‍යයන වැඩසටහනේ සිසුහු දකුණු කොරියාවේ, කොරියානු සමුද්‍රීය හා සාගර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය (Korea Maritime and Ocean University - KMOU) සමඟ ක්‍රියාත්මක ශිෂ්‍ය හුවමාරු වැඩසටහනකට එක්ව ජාත්‍යන්තර අධ්‍යාපනික හා පර්යේෂණ අත්දැකීම් ලබා ගැනීමට සමත්ව සිටිති.

මෙම වැඩසටහන යටතේ සිසුන්ට කොරියාවේ ප්‍රවීණ විද්වත් මහාචාර්ය ලිම් මහතාගේ මඟපෙන්වීම යටතේ නවීන සමුද්‍රීය හා සාගර සම්පත් කළමනාකරණ ක්ෂේත්‍රයන් පිළිබඳ ප්‍රායෝගික හා න්‍යායාත්මක දැනුම ලබා ගැනීමේ අවස්ථාව උදා වී ඇත.

මෙම හුවමාරු වැඩසටහන ශ්‍රී ලංකා සාගර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය සහ කොරියානු සමුද්‍රීය හා සාගර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය අතර දිගුකාලීන අධ්‍යාපනික සහ පර්යේෂණ සහයෝගීතාව තවදුරටත් ශක්තිමත් කරමින්, ශ්‍රී ලාංකේය සිසුන්ට ජාත්‍යන්තර මට්ටමේ දැනුම, තාක්ෂණය සහ වෘත්තීය කුසලතා ලබා ගැනීමට වැදගත් මඟක් විවර කරයි.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ නිල් ආර්ථිකය (Blue Economy) සහ සමුද්‍රීය ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ අනාගත සංවර්ධනය සඳහා අවශ්‍ය මානව සම්පත බිහිකිරීමේදී මෙවැනි ජාත්‍යන්තර හවුල්කාරිත්වයන් සුවිශේෂී දායකත්වයක් සපයනු ඇත.

මෙම වැඩසටහන සාර්ථකව ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීම සඳහා අගනා දායකත්වයක් ලබා දුන් මහාචාර්ය ලිම් මහතාට සහ කොරියානු සමුද්‍රීය හා සාගර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයට ශ්‍රී ලංකා සාගර විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය සිය හෘදයාංගම කෘතඥතාව පළ කරයි.
