🕊️ In Loving Memory of Padma Shri Solomon Pappaiah 🕊️

The Hindu College Colombo Old Boys’ Association mourns with deep sadness the passing of Padma Shri Solomon Pappaiah, a distinguished Tamil orator, scholar, and beloved cultural personality.

We fondly remember his visit to Colombo in 2018, when he and his team graciously travelled to Sri Lanka to support our OBA’s school development fundraising programme, “Inthuvin Iniya Maalai.”
What touched us most was his extraordinary generosity. He and his team donated their entire professional fees to the development of Hindu College Colombo, making their contribution not merely a performance, but a lasting act of service to education and our school community.

We remain deeply grateful for his kindness, generosity and unwavering support for Hindu College.

His words may have inspired generations, but his generosity will remain forever etched in the memories of those who had the privilege of meeting him.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and countless admirers.
May his soul rest in peace.

Om Shanti. 🙏
