Celebrating a Milestone: Nalanda IUHS Campus First Convocation Ceremony🎓

On December 3rd, we proudly celebrated the first-ever convocation of Nalanda IUHS Campus, marking a historic moment for our first batch of Higher Diploma graduates! This campus is unique, not only for its academic excellence but also for nurturing holistic growth.

The event was graced by esteemed chief guests, including Dr. Chadra Jayasooriya, Dr. Kulan Ranasinghe, Prof. Sarath Kotagama, Prof. R. ප්‍රේමසිරි කේමදාසයන් ගේ අග්නි ඔපෙරාවේ ගිනි දෙවඟනගේ චරිතයට පණ පොවමින් අතිශය ප්‍රබල soprano හඬකින් ප්‍රේක්ෂකයන්ගේ ආදරය දිනාගෙන සංගීත ශ්‍රේෂ්ත්‍රයට පිවිසි ඇය රංගන වේදිනියක් ලෙසද, එමෙන්ම සංගීත ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ අවුරුදු ගණනාවක විවිධ සංගීත ශානරයන්හී දක්ෂතා දක්වමින් එහි පළපුරුද්ද ලබාගෙන සෞන්දර්ය විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ කථිකාචාර්යවරියක්ව ඉතා කාරුණිකව සිසුන් ගණනාවකට තම දැනුම දායාද කළ ඇය අප සංගීත විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ ගායන වැඩ මුළුවට පැමිණ ඇයගේ අතිශය වටිනා දැනුම අප සිසුන් සමග බෙදාගත් ඉන්දිකා උපමාලි මහත්මිය ට අපේ ගෞරවය සහ ස්තුතිය ප්‍රකාශ කරමු.

We are truly honored to have Devashrie de Silva at our Nalanda campus singing workshop. From the moment we connected, she believed in the vision and devoted her time to creating something special for our students. As one of the greatest singers in Sri Lanka, Devashrie brings unmatched versatility, excelling in both Sinhala and Western singing, including dramatic and classical styles. Her talents extend beyond music, as she’s also deeply involved in musical dramas, making her a truly multi-talented artist. Her beautiful voice and uplifting presence enriched the workshop, leaving a lasting impact on everyone.

Our entire team, staff, administration, and crew are grateful for her dedication and the inspiration she brought to this initiative. We thank her for sharing her invaluable expertise with our students and for being a part of this meaningful experience.

විසි වසරකට වඩා සංගීත ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ පළපුරුද්ද ඇති අති දක්ෂ ගායකයෙක්, වාදකයෙක් මෙන්ම සංගීත අධ්‍යක්ෂක වරයකුද වන නදීක ජයවර්ධන මහතා අප IUHS නාලන්දා විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ සංගීත ආශ්‍රමයට පැමිණ ඊයේ (ඔක්.04) දිනය පුරා විශේෂ සංගීත වැඩමුළුවක් පැවැත්වීය. මෙරට සංගීත ක්ෂේත්‍රයට මනා දැනුමකින් මෙන්ම නිවැරැදි පුහුණුවකින් හෙබි වටිනා සිසුන් පිරිසක් නිර්මාණය කිරීමේ අභිප්‍රාය ඇතිව සියළුම පහසුකම් නොමිලේ ලබාදෙමින් පවත්වාගෙන යනු ලබන අපගේ සංගීත ආශ්‍රමයට ඔබතුමන්ගේ පැමිණීම මහත් ආශිර්වාදයක් වන අතර IUHS නාලන්දා විශ්ව වෙනුවෙන් ඔබතුමා කළ කැපවීමට අපගේ ගෞරවනීය ස්තුතියි පුදකර සිටිමු !
