There are various laptop cooling pads available in the market. They come in different brands, sizes, components and designs. The main requirement of a cooling pad is to reduce the operating temperature of the laptop. In using cooling pads in high temperature zones, just the airflow is not sufficient to reduce the internal temperature of the laptop. Passive coolers absorb heat from the laptop and use conduction to reduce temperature. This type is also not suitable to be used in high temperature zones since the reduction of temperature by conduction occurs relative to the environmental temperature.
Our proposed iCooler is compatible with high environmental temperatures and it can control the temperature of the laptop. The proposed iCooler is also designed to be intelligent to change its functional properties according to the environment.
