The 40th General Convocation of the University of Jaffna will be held on 28th, 29th, and 30th January 2026 for the conferment of Postgraduate Degrees, Degrees, and Postgraduate Diplomas.

The TikTok Style Short Video Competition on Wellbeing was held on 21.11.2025 at the FMSC, with 32 students taking part. Organized by the WeBe Cell of FMSC and coordinated by Dr. (Mrs.) S. Dilogini, the event featured video screenings, presentations, and a Q&A session. Winners received shields, cash prizes, and certificates, while all others received Certificates of Participation. The program successfully encouraged students to promote wellbeing in a creative and meaningful way.

Our students from the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce have secured third place at InsureChamp 2025, the national insurance quiz competition organized by the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka, held at the BMICH today. They excelled among talented groups of participants representing 17 universities and were awarded a cash prize of LKR 75,000.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Vice Chancellor, Dean of the faculty and all the staff who contributed to this student's achievement.

The Senior Common Room of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna has been beautifully upgraded with new furniture, air conditioners, and a TV, giving it a fresh new look!

The newly renovated space was officially opened by our Vice-Chancellor on November 3, 2025, together with the staff of FMSC.

Inauguration of the Lift

We are delighted to share moments from the Inauguration of the Lift and Recognition Ceremony held at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna, on 3rd November 2025.

The event was graced by Professor S. Srisatkunarajah, Vice Chancellor, University of Jaffna, and attended by staff, students, and well-wishers.
