🔧 Hardware Workshop 2026 – Successfully Completed! 💻

We are delighted to share that the Hardware Workshop organized by the ICT Center, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka for the DIT 14th Intake was successfully conducted on 4th & 5th April 2026.

🎯 Over the two days, students had the opportunity to:
✅ Gain hands-on experience in computer hardware assembling
✅ Refresh and strengthen their hardware knowledge
✅ Hands-on experience in installing OS and application software on the assembled devices

💡 The workshop was highly interactive, with enthusiastic participation from students who attended in person and actively engaged in practical sessions.

👏 We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants, instructors, and organizing team members who contributed to making this event a success.

🚀🌟 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝑪𝑻 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓! 🌟🚀
We are thrilled to share that on March 5th, 2025, the ICT Center at Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Makandura, successfully conducted a 𝓸𝓷𝓮-𝓭𝓪𝔂 𝓼𝓮𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓻 on the ICT subject for GCE (O/L) students. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
The seminar was aimed at equipping students who are preparing to face their GCE examinations later this month. We had the pleasure of hosting more than 65 students from Sandalankawa Central Collage, including both Sinhala and English medium students. The active participation and enthusiasm of the students made this event a resounding success! 🌟
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the students and teachers who participated, as well as the ICT Center staff, particularly Mrs. Tharaki and Mr. Nuwan, whose efforts were crucial to the success of this event. Your hard work and dedication truly make these initiatives a success. 📚💻🌟✌
