🔢 The buzzers were live and the game was on at MathFest 2026🔢

Around 40 schools showed up, ready to prove that math is anything but boring! 💥

On 10 July, SLIIT UNI Malabe transformed into a battleground of logic and speed as students from the Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara education zones went head-to-head in SLIIT MathFest 2026 — organised by our Department of Mathematics and
Statistics, Faculty of Humanities and Sciences.

A weekend of Design for SLIIT!

Spatial Voices 2026 lit up Havelock City Mall for the second-year, as graduating and current students from the BA (Hons) Interior Design programme at the SLIIT School of Architecture showcased their incredible work on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30.
Prospective students, design enthusiasts, and members of the public came out to explore it all — with students on hand throughout to walk visitors through their designs, sharing their creative processes and design development via presentation panels, physical models, and immersive VR walkthroughs.

The feedback said it all: visitors shared positive feedback for the quality, creativity, and diversity of the work on show. A brilliant platform for our students to celebrate their academic and creative achievements while connecting with the wider public and future SLIIT students! 🏛️✨

🎓 SLIIT Career Week 2026 – A Successful Three-Day Journey! 📸

SLIIT Career Week 2026 brought together students from across the university for three days of meaningful industry engagement.

Day 01 welcomed students from the Faculty of Humanities & Sciences,

Day 02 was dedicated to students from the Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Engineering, and SLIIT Business School.

The event concluded on Day 03, giving them the chance to explore internship and employment opportunities and gain valuable insights into the world of work.

Students connected with leading employers, explored career opportunities, and built meaningful professional relationships to help shape their future paths. This is what a SLIIT education is all about — students who don't just graduate, but shine at their careers.
