Growing a Greener Future at SLTC! 🌿

As part of the SLTC Eco-Campus Initiative, SLTC is proud to partner with LTL Holdings to launch a meaningful tree-planting programme at the SLTC Padukka premises.

This initiative complements LTL Holdings’ flagship “Dasa Dahasak Mee Thuru” – Mee Tree Planting Campaign and the “Green Through Football to Counter Global Warming” initiative by the AdeZ Foundation.

As the first step of this collaboration, 27 Mee trees (Madhuca longifolia) will be planted across the SLTC Premises, creating more opportunities for our students and staff to actively contribute to environmental conservation.

Together, we are taking a step towards a greener campus, a healthier environment, and a more sustainable future.

✨ SLTC at graVITas 2026 – VIT Vellore, India! 🇱🇰🤝🇮🇳

What an incredible experience for our students at graVITas 2026, the vibrant annual technical and cultural festival of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), India! 🚀

Representing Sri Lanka Technology Campus (SLTC), our students had the opportunity to take part in an exciting range of technical competitions, exhibitions, workshops, innovation activities, and networking opportunities, connecting with students and academics from across the region.

From sharing ideas and showcasing talents to learning, competing, and building new connections, the experience provided our students with valuable international exposure and opportunities to strengthen their technical, professional, and interpersonal skills. 🌟

Beyond the event, the visit also created valuable opportunities to further strengthen the growing SLTC–VIT partnership, with discussions around research, innovation, academic pathways, student mobility, and future collaborative initiatives.

A heartfelt thank you to the VIT Team and the entire graVITas 2026 Organizing Committee for the warm hospitality, excellent arrangements, and unforgettable experience extended to our delegation.

We are proud of our students for representing SLTC with enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment.
