Today, Ms. Maria Gloria, a third year undergraduate student from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, visited the Centre for Gender Equity and Equality (CGEE), University of Ruhuna. She is a volunteer examining gender issues, sexual and gender-based violence, social disparities, university life, students' politics, and politico-economic and cultural trends in Sri Lanka.
She had an insightful session with Dr. Indi Akurugoda, Director - CGEE, University of Ruhuna, and a few undergraduate students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Thank you, Ms. Kojee Kehara for initiating the event. The CGEE acknowledges the contribution of Ms. Ruwani Sasanthika, Ms. Himasha Rajapaksha, and Ms. Banu Ashroff.
