With deep sorrow, we announce that the remains of Prof. Nalin Abeysekera will be brought to the Open University of Sri Lanka on 26th April 2026, where they will lie at the HSS Lobby from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. for colleagues, students, and well-wishers to pay their final respects.
The remain will then be taken to the Mahinda Panagoda Funeral Parlor and will remain there until 4:00 PM on Monday. The final rites will be performed at the Talahena Public Cemetery at 5:00 PM on Monday.
