The 42nd General Convocation of the University of Moratuwa was held successfully on the 22nd and 23rd of December 2021.

Congratulations to Oshada Jayasinghe, who won the Gold Medal for having the highest overall GPA in the Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering Department, and Nadarasar Bahavan, who won the Gold Medal for having the highest overall GPA in the Biomedical Engineering Department.

The team consisting of members Dulana Manjitha Kularatne, Devinda Srinath Weerapperuma, Nisal Jayamuni, and Kalana Jayalath, four undergraduate students representing the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Moratuwa in the Biomedical Engineering stream, became the 1st runner up 🥈in Electronic Design Competition 2021 👨‍💻organized by IEEE Sri Lanka Section.

They were also awarded the People's Choice Award 🏆 at the competition for their Domestic Patient Monitoring System product. 🎉
