A full-time Research Assistant position is available for a research project on Large Language Models (LLMs) at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Moratuwa, under the supervision of Prof. Uthayasanker Thayasivam.
The research focuses on developing and optimizing LLMs, training and fine-tuning transformer-based models, and building efficient training and inference systems using large-scale datasets and GPU infrastructure.
This position is particularly suitable for individuals interested in pursuing higher studies, preferably MPhil or PhD, and building a strong AI/ML research and publication profile. The appointment is for 12β36 months (full-time) with an attractive monthly stipend and access to high-performance NVIDIA GPU computing resources.
