The Organic Chemistry Club of the College of Chemical Sciences (CCS) successfully organized an insightful field visit to HayCarb PLC 🏭, a leading manufacturer of activated carbon 🖤.

This educational visit provided participating students with valuable exposure to the industrial-scale production and application of activated carbon. Attendees had the opportunity to observe state-of-the-art manufacturing processes ⚙, learn about carbon reactivation and sustainability practices 🌱, and understand the vital roles activated carbon plays across various industries, including water purification 💧, air filtration 🌬, and energy storage 🔋.
