අද දින ඇද හැලුණු අධික වර්ෂාව හේතුවෙන් අප විශ්වවිද්‍යාල පරිශ්‍රයේ ගංවතුර තත්ත්වයක් ඇතිවිය. එහෙත්, මෙම අභියෝගාත්මක අවස්ථාවේදී අප විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රජාව දැක්වූ කැපවීම සැබවින්ම අගය කළ යුතුය.

අධික වර්ෂාව නොතකා, විපතට පත් වූවන්ගේ සුභසාධනය වෙනුවෙන් සහ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ වැදගත් පහසුකම් ආරක්ෂා කර ගැනීම වෙනුවෙන් වෙහෙස නොබලා කටයුතු කළ සියලුම කාර්ය මණ්ඩල සාමාජිකයින්ට අපගේ ගෞරවනීය ස්තූතිය පුද කර සිටිමු.

විපතට පත් වූ සිසුන්ට සහ කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයට අවශ්‍ය ආහාර පාන කඩිනමින් ලබා දීමට පියවර ගත් සුභසාධන සංගමයට අපගේ විශේෂ ස්තූතිය හිමි වේ.
විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය අවට නේවාසිකාගාරවල රැඳී සිටි, ගංවතුරෙන් පීඩාවට පත් වූ ශිෂ්‍යාවන් සඳහා විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ කාන්තා නේවාසිකාගාරය තුළ තාවකාලිකව නවාතැන් පහසුකම් සලසා දීමට අප පියවර ගත්තෙමු. එමෙන්ම ඔවුන්ගේ කෙටි කාලීන රැඳී සිටීම තුළ අවශ්‍ය ආහාර සහ අනෙකුත් පහසුකම් සැපයීමට ද විශ්වවිද්‍යාලය කටයුතු සූදානම් කර ඇත.

"අපගේ ශක්තිය රඳා පවතින්නේ ගොඩනැගිලි මත නොව, එකිනෙකා වෙනුවෙන් සහ ආයතනය වෙනුවෙන් පෙරමුණ ගන්නා අපගේ මිනිසුන් තුළයි."
අද දින අත්වැල් බැඳගත් UoVT පවුලේ සියලු දෙනාටම ස්තූතියි. අප එක් කණ්ඩායමක් ලෙස වැඩ කරන්නේ නම් ඕනෑම කුණාටුවකට මුහුණ දිය හැකි බව ඔබ අද ඔප්පු කර පෙන්වූහ.
