The Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS) is one among the four faculties of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL). The FAS of the SEUSL was established in 1997 at Sammanthurai. It consists of three departments namely Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences. The other three faculties in the university are Faculty of Arts & Culture, Faculty of Management & Commerce

and Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic which are located in the main site of the university at Oluvil.

තාත්තා කියන්නෙ ප්‍රේමයේ මහා නිර්මාතෘවරයා; නැත්නම් මැවුම්කාරයා!

ඒ දඬු බැඳලා, සත් කුළුපව් බිඳලා මංමාවත් හදලා දරුවන්ව නව ලෝකෙකට එක්කන් එන්න මඟ හැදුවෙ තාත්තා;
තාත්තලා කියන්නෙ ප්‍රේමයට කියන තවත් එක් පර්යාය පදයක්.

අද එහෙම ප්‍රේම කරපු, දරුවන්ට නව ලෝකෙකට යන්න මං තනපු දා බිඳු හෙලපු තාත්තා කෙනෙක්ගෙ හදවතේ සැත්කමක්!

දරුවන්ට ප්‍රේමයම දීපු ඒ මහා හදවත ලෙඩ වෙලා;
හුස්ම ගන්න අමාරුයි ඒ හදවතට දැන්,

පුළුවන් නම් අපි ඒ හදවතට කෘතීම ස්වසනය දෙමු; අපිට හැකි අයුරින්!

අපි එකතු වෙලා එ විසල් හදවතට ආයෙ ජීවය දෙමු!

Calling for Extended Abstracts - ASRS2021 - Celebrating a Decade of Success

The 10th Annual Science Research Session of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (ASRS 2021) will be held on November 30th, 2021.
We are now accepting Extended Abstracts from all disciplines of sciences until the 7th of September, 2021. For abstract guidelines and submission, please visit www.seu.ac.lk/asrs2021.

All the accepted abstracts will be published in the celebratory proceeding book commemorating 10 years of a successful continuation of ASRS.

ASRS 2021 will feature a wide range of talks on cutting-edge outcomes in the field of science, a couple of guest speeches from world-renowned scientists, and a networking lunch. (N.B. Depending on governmental health regulations conference mode may switch to virtual).
