Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay Presents Waste Cans to Kakata City Corporation
Margibi County Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay has made a significant contribution to the Kakata City Corporation by presenting several empty drums intended for waste collection.
This initiative aims to enhance the city's waste management efforts by facilitating proper disposal at the Kakata waste site.
During the presentation on June 6,2026, Campbell Dennis II Chief of Staff to Senator Nuquay, emphasized that these drums were provided to support the corporation's recent decongestion efforts in the city. "Senator Nuquay is committed to improving the living conditions in Kakata and believes that proper waste management is crucial, Dennis stated.
Moses Dennis, another representative, expressed the senator's appreciation for the work being done by the Kakata City Corporation and promised ongoing support for future initiatives.
Kakata City Mayor Gbarngawoe E. Seyboe, accepted the drums with enthusiasm, pledging to distribute them to necessary areas throughout the city.
He highlighted that this is not the first time Senator Nuquay has shown his dedication to the Kakata community and encouraged other citizens to follow his example.
Margibi County Superintendent O Jay Godfavor Morris Jr. also expressed gratitude for the donation, noting that collaboration between the senator and local authorities will greatly benefit the community.
Superindent Morris urged residents to take good care of the drums, warning that anyone caught stealing them would face legal consequences.
