Millennium Fellows - University of Liberia Meets with UL Administration
On Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Capitol Hill Campus in the President's Conference Room, Millennium Fellows had a meeting with administrators of the University of Liberia. The meeting hosted Dr. Moses Zinnah, acting President of the University of Liberia and representatives from the offices of UL Relations, Student Affairs, President's Mentorship Program, etc.
The meeting started with a brief welcome statement by the Senior Executive Assistant to the President, Mr. Blamo Nimle, followed by self-introduction of Millennium Fellows and UL Officials. The Campus Directors, Ezekiel Nyanfor and Amb. Lawrence Sergbou,
provided detailed overview of the Fellowship and how the University can support. Amongst the many things mentioned, resources such as space, financial support for fellows' projects and media coverage were exceptional highlighted.
Excitedly, the acting President of UL, Dr. Zinnah, congratulated all selected students and expressed his excitement of their passion for positive activities. He also said that the University will do all its best to support fellows inorder to actualize the SDGs.
During the meeting, fellows also talked about their individual projects and appreciated the University for accepting to work collectively. Moreover, other officials representing different departments of UL Administration, thanked fellows and reaffirmed commitment of the University to supporting the work of every fellow. Interestingly, there were lot of motivations from UL officials to stir up fellows to put in their best and achieve the desired results.
