25 International Week "Importance of Staff Wellbeing” has officially begun!🎉

We started the event with the enchanting sound of the Lithuanian traditional instrument kanklės. Professional musician Ingrida Kurienė gave us a wonderful musical therapy session, filling the room with calming and relaxing melodies. 🎶

We continued with a welcome speech from KVK Director dr. Remigijus Kinderis and a presentation about KVK given by Deputy Director for Strategic Development Jurgita Raišytė.

For this International Week, we are happy to welcome participants from 21 different universities. 🌍 It is a great opportunity to meet new people, share experiences, learn from each other, and enjoy an international atmosphere at KVK.

On September 25, we had our first Happy Friday of the new academic year! 🎉

As is our tradition, we spent the day exploring the beautiful Curonian Spit together with our Erasmus and first-year full-time international students.

Our adventure took us to the Cormorant Colony, the charming town of Nida, and the breathtaking Dead Dunes, also known as the Nagliai Nature Reserve.

It was a wonderful day filled with nature, new experiences, good company, and plenty of smiles! 💚

Here’s to a new academic year full of friendship, adventures, and unforgettable Happy Fridays! ✨

📣 Preparation is underway for the 2028–2034 Erasmus+ programme period.

On September 17–18, representatives of the International Relations Department took part in the annual seminar for Erasmus+ coordinators from Lithuanian higher education institutions, organized by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation in Vilnius.

The two-day event focused on presenting the programme’s achievements, discussing the prospects for Erasmus+ after 2027, and introducing changes to KA131 and KA171 activities. An important part of the event, however, was dedicated to discussions, sharing practical experiences, and jointly addressing current challenges with colleagues from other Lithuanian higher education institutions, with the aim of improving the quality of staff and student mobility.

Such meetings are a great opportunity to strengthen cooperation, prepare for upcoming changes to the programme, and create even more meaningful international opportunities for the KVK community.

🌍 KVK Strengthens International Partnerships at EAIE 2026 in Glasgow!

Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija (KVK) is participating in one of the most important events in international higher education - EAIE European Association for International Education 2026 in Glasgow - where, together with Study In Lithuania, it is showcasing KVK and Lithuanian higher education opportunities to the international community. Fifteen Lithuanian higher education institutions are participating at the "Study in Lithuania" stand this year.

🤝 During the exhibition, KVK representatives - Head of the International Relations Department Jūratė Danielienė and Deputy Director for Strategic Development Jurgita Raišytė - met with existing partners to discuss steps for strengthening cooperation, new activities, and future opportunities. New international connections were also established, potentially laying the groundwork for future partnerships, projects, and academic mobility.
Representatives from the participating Lithuanian higher education institutions also held a meeting to share experiences, discuss shared opportunities for enhancing internationalization, and address the importance of the visibility of Lithuanian higher education abroad.

🌐 Special attention was also paid to the "EduCare 5.0" European University Alliance. Meeting in person, alliance partners discussed upcoming events, activities at their respective institutions, and new cooperation opportunities. These meetings served as an excellent opportunity not only to strengthen existing ties but also to explore broader joint activities.

✨ What does EAIE 2026 offer for KVK?
• stronger strategic partnerships;
• new international contacts;
• more opportunities for student and staff mobility;
• potential for new international projects and joint activities;
• greater international visibility for KVK.
Internationalization begins with connection - and strong partnerships grow through meeting, talking, and creating together. 🌍🤝
