Baltic-German University Liaison Office There is close cooperation with the Mecklenburg-West Pomerania University Information Office as well as the DAAD Information Centre in Riga.

The German-Baltic Future Foundation (DBJW) is looking for students and young professionals to become Heads of Cluster at the German-Baltic Conference 2026 in Tallinn, Estonia (15–18 October).
❗As a Head of Cluster, you will:
📍Guide a thematic group of conference participants
📍Work together to develop concrete policy ideas
📍Help prepare recommendations to be presented to decision-makers in Brussels
This year's theme is Self-Determination - covering EU enlargement, crisis preparedness, disinformation, and democratic resilience.

Join the upcoming workshop “Protecting Regional Security through Sanctions against Belarus”

This workshop will examine the role of sanctions in addressing authoritarian governance, human rights violations, interstate aggression, and regional security threats linked to Belarus.

Participants will explore:
• the current situation in Belarus and the implementation of sanctions
• the political and normative dimensions of sanctions policy
• the legal foundations of sanctions in EU and international law

The workshop is within the framework of a project of the same name by Assoc. prof. Loreta Šaltinytė from Mykolas Romeris University.
