Lietišķo datorsistēmu institūts, kurš iepriekš apvienoja 3 Datorzinātnes un informācijas tehnoloģijas katedras, tagad ir Datorzinātnes, informācijas tehnoloģijas un enerģētikas fakultātes sastāvdaļa. gada jūnijā, apvienojoties pedagoģiskajiem un zinātniskajiem darbiniekiem, kuru profesionālā darbība ir saistīta ar visdažādākā rakstura sistēmu pētījumiem un projektēšanu. Kopš katedras dibināšanas t

ajā strādā- Dr. habil. ing., profesors Jānis Grundspeņķis (katedras vadītājs un mākslīgā intelekta speciālists), Dr. sc. ing., asoc.prof. Jānis Eiduks (speciālists datu bāzu nozarē), Dr. sc. Mārīte Kirikova (speciāliste IS projektēšanā) un lektors Valdis Andersons. Laika gaitā katedras mācību spēkus ir papildinājuši: lektori Judīte Ciekure, Renāte Sprice un Agris Ņikitenko, asistentes Viktorija Vinogradova un Larisa Survilo. Laika gaitā Sistēmu teorijas un projektēšanas katedra tika pārdēvēta par Sistēmas teorijas profesoru grupu, bet, pamatojoties uz RTU senāta lēmumu, 2003.gada 29.septembrī tā atkal tika pārdēvēta par Sistēmu teorijas un projektēšanas katedru.

Our Story

Mākslīga intelekta un sistēmu inženierijas katedra (agrāk Sistēmu teorijas un projektēšanas katedra) tika dibināta 1994. gada jūnijā, apvienojoties pedagoģiskajiem un zinātniskajiem darbiniekiem, kuru profesionālā darbība ir saistīta ar visdažādākā rakstura sistēmu pētījumiem un projektēšanu. Kopš katedras dibināšanas tajā strādā- Dr. habil. sc. ing., profesors Jānis Grundspeņķis (katedras vadītājs un mākslīgā intelekta speciālists), Dr. sc. ing., asoc.prof. Jānis Eiduks (speciālists datu bāzu nozarē), Dr. sc. ing., asoc.prof. Mārīte Kirikova (speciāliste IS projektēšanā). Laika gaitā katedras mācību spēkus ir papildinājuši: Judīte Ciekure, AgrisŅikitenko, Alla Anohina, Egons Lavendelis un citi jaunie speciālisti. Kopš 2018. gada Dr.sc.ing. Agris Ņikitenko ir Datorzinātnes un informācijas tehnoloģijas fakultātes dekāns, Dr.sc.ing.
