The Internal Vice President shall appoint the members of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall serve as the legislative body of the Institute, responsible for making decisions and establishing policies that guide the overall operation and direction of the organization.

1. All aspiring applicants must submit the required information through the provided application link within the designated application period only.

2. Every applicant must participate in an interview with the Internal Vice President immediately following the application period.

3. After the interview process, the Internal Vice President shall select the First-Year Board of Director.

4. Applicants who are not selected for the Board of Director position may still run for a Year-Level position, provided that they select both options on the application form.

For generations, Indigenous communities have been among the strongest guardians of the forests, rivers, mountains, and biodiversity that sustain us. Their traditional knowledge and practices continue to remind us that caring for the land means caring for the generations who depend on it.

Yet, the people who have long protected these lands continue to face displacement and threats to their ancestral domains.

And as recent stories bring the realities of Indigenous communities closer to public attention, may we remember that behind every conversation about land and development are people. People whose past, present, and future are deeply rooted in the places they call home.

Their voices matter. Their rights matter. Their home matters.

This International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, may we look beyond celebrating their culture and traditions. May we listen to their stories, respect their rights, and recognize the generations of care they have given to our lands.

Because when ancestral land is threatened, we are not only talking about a land.

We are talking about a home, and every home is worth protecting—not only today, but every day.

The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers Bicol University Student Chapter (PICE-BUSC) Officers gathered to conduct their 3rd general meeting at the Civil Engineering building on August 3, 2026.

The meeting commenced with an engaging icebreaker activity, "Two Truths and a Lie," where members introduced themselves by sharing two true statements and one false statement, offering everyone a fun opportunity to get to know one another and showcase their fun personalities. Following the introductions, the meeting proceeded with committee updates, during which each committee head presented the latest developments, ongoing initiatives, and progress within their respective committees. The officers also held the final discussion for Mapadagos 7.0, focusing on the remaining preparations and key responsibilities to ensure the successful implementation of the activity.

The meeting concluded with a group photoshoot, followed by informal interactions among the officers before the gathering officially came to a close.

The problem was vast, but we didn't face it alone. Our brilliant officers delivered high-speed knowledge transfers, and the crew responded perfectly.

Make notes. Watch. Learn. And that is exactly what you did. You are no longer running on sparse data banks. You are fueled up, your coordinates are locked in, and you are ready for the main mission: the first semester.

On August 5, 2026, the Bicol University East Campus transformed into a massive launchpad as we successfully initiated MAPADAGOS 7.0: The CE Freshmen Orientation & Campus Tour!

Our first-year explorers officially stepped into the GalaCE, and it was nothing short of a cosmic phenomenon. The expedition kicked off with an action-packed Pre-Launch Campus Tour, where our brave teams conquered stellar mission stations—from navigating the MECH-A-Maze and riding the GEO with the flow to surviving the Human ChEntipede and shooting stars at Hoops Hoops Hoops!

After securing the base camp, our intergalactic explorers beamed into their official mission briefings. They met Mission Control (our esteemed faculty), decoded the CE curriculum roadmap, and secured their Navigator's Guide to college life.

The afternoon pushed boundaries even further as we explored the uncharted frontiers of Civil Engineering specializations. We finally wrapped up this massive expedition by celebrating our standout voyagers during an epic Awarding Ceremony!

To every pioneer who showed up, embraced the journey, and wore their cosmic colors: you proved that in this galaxy, we don't just walk through the unknown—𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗼𝗮𝗿.

🚀 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗖𝗘 𝗛𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱! 🌌

On August 5, 2026, the Bicol University East Campus transformed into a massive launchpad as we successfully initiated MAPADAGOS 7.0: The CE Freshmen Orientation & Campus Tour!

Our first-year explorers officially stepped into the GalaCE, and it was nothing short of a cosmic phenomenon. The expedition kicked off with an action-packed Pre-Launch Campus Tour, where our brave teams conquered stellar mission stations—from navigating the MECH-A-Maze and riding the GEO with the flow to surviving the Human ChEntipede and shooting stars at Hoops Hoops Hoops!

After securing the base camp, our intergalactic explorers beamed into their official mission briefings. They met Mission Control (our esteemed faculty), decoded the CE curriculum roadmap, and secured their Navigator's Guide to college life.

The afternoon pushed boundaries even further as we explored the uncharted frontiers of Civil Engineering specializations. We finally wrapped up this massive expedition by celebrating our standout voyagers during an epic Awarding Ceremony!

To every pioneer who showed up, embraced the journey, and wore their cosmic colors: you proved that in this galaxy, we don't just walk through the unknown—𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗼𝗮𝗿.
