Master Lecture – Joris Pauwels

On January 9, 2026, the School of Architecture, Planning & Design (SAP+D) at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) hosted a Master Lecture by Joris Pauwels, Associate Director at Zaha Hadid Architects, at the Ibn Rochd Amphitheater.

This academic event brought together students, faculty members, and the wider UM6P community for an engaging exchange around contemporary architectural practice, large-scale international projects, and the design processes shaping complex architectural environments. The lecture was marked by insightful discussions and active interaction with the audience, reflecting SAP+D’s commitment to fostering dialogue between academic education and professional excellence.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Joris Pauwels has contributed to the design and delivery of large-scale architectural projects worldwide. This lecture will offer an in-depth perspective on contemporary architectural practice, exploring design processes, multidisciplinary coordination, and the creative dynamics shaping complex international projects.

جامعة محمد السادس متعددة التخصصات تدخل قائمة أفضل 400 جامعة في العالم حسب تصنيف “تايمز للتعليم العالي” لسنة 2026.

بنجرير، 9 أكتوبر 2025 – أصبحت جامعة محمد السادس متعددة التخصصات التقنية (UM6P) من بين أفضل 400 جامعة في العالم، وفق تصنيف Times Higher Education (THE) لسنة 2026. ويأتي هذا التقدم بعد دخول الجامعة ضمن قائمة أفضل 500 جامعة في تصنيف سنة 2025، مما يرسخ مكانتها كأول جامعة في المغرب وشمال إفريقيا، ورابع جامعة على الصعيد الإفريقي، ويؤكد موقعها كإحدى المؤسسات الرائدة في مجال البحث العلمي والابتكار على المستوى الدولي.

تضمن تصنيف سنة 2026 أكثر من 2.191 جامعة من 115 دولة، اعتماداً على 18 مؤشراً موزعة على خمس فئات رئيسية:

• جودة التعليم (بيئة التعلم)،

• جودة البحث العلمي (من حيث الحجم، الموارد والسمعة)،

• بيئة البحث (الإنتاجية والتمويل والسمعة الأكاديمية)،

• الانفتاح الدولي (نسبة الطلبة والأساتذة الأجانب والتعاون الدولي)،

• العلاقة مع الصناعة (الإيرادات وبراءات الاختراع).


واستناداً إلى هذه المعايير، تم تصنيف UM6P ضمن الفئة الممتدة من المرتبة 351 إلى 400 عالمياً.

هذا التتويج يعكس الدينامية العلمية التي عرفتها الجامعة خلال السنوات الأخيرة. فبين عامي 2020 و2025، نشرت الجامعة أكثر من 6.600 بحث علمي في مجلات مفهرسة، 85% منها في مجلات من الفئة الأولى (Q1)، وما مجموعه حوالي 84.000 اقتباس علمي.

ويضم طاقمها الأكاديمي حالياً 379 أستاذاً دائماً و1.300 طالب دكتوراه، ما يعكس تطور قدراتها في البحث والتكوين في سلك الدكتوراه.

كما تحتضن الجامعة اليوم 8.756 طالباً من 40 جنسية، تشكل النساء 55% منهم، موزعين على 45 برنامجاً تعليمياً.

وفي مجال الابتكار وريادة الأعمال، قام شبكة حاضنات ومسرّعات الجامعة بمواكبة أكثر من 1.600 مقاولة ناشئة وحامل مشروع عبر القارة الإفريقية، كما استفاد أكثر من 5.500 شاب من برامج التكوين في ريادة الأعمال.
