Ventures Adventure 2026 once again confirms the central role of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane in shaping student entrepreneurship in Morocco. Led by the Office of Employability and Entrepreneurship at AUI, this flagship event brought together 40 projects developed by more than 60 student entrepreneurs, with a particularly strong level of impact this year. The edition also recorded 157 contributions from companies and investors, including 12 equity investment proposals, reflecting the growing interest of the ecosystem in startups emerging from the campus.

Beyond the competition, Ventures Adventure stands as a true acceleration platform, connecting students, mentors, and investors. A total of 21 startups will be supported through mentorship, technical assistance, and partnership opportunities, embodying the mission of the Office of Employability and Entrepreneurship: to strengthen students’ employability and entrepreneurial mindset by bridging academic learning with real market realities.

Student Success Story | Abderrahmane Youjile

Coming from a family of farmers in the Meknes region, Abderrahmane Youjile perfectly embodies determination and innovation. Now a Business Administration student at Al Akhawayn University—where he was awarded a merit-based scholarship—he has turned his roots into a true driver of change.

Driven by the desire to make a real impact, he launched Agrix, an innovative project powered by artificial intelligence, designed to support farmers in their daily work. His mission? To improve agricultural productivity while optimizing the use of resources—especially water—through smart and accessible solutions.

Balancing academics and entrepreneurship, Abderrahmane takes on the challenge with discipline and passion. He highlights the key role of Al Akhawayn University in his journey, providing him with a supportive environment, strong mentorship, and the resources needed to bring his ideas to life.

His story is a true source of inspiration for young people who aspire to innovate, lead, and contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.

Highlights from MFC Talks #9, organized by the Morocco Fintech Center in partnership with Al Akhawayn University, focused on a key challenge: securing usage to build lasting digital trust.

Key discussion points:
• Strengthening the cyber resilience of infrastructures
• Enhancing digital trust to drive adoption
• Sharing practical, real-world feedback and insights

With the participation of key ecosystem players (DGSSI, AUSIM, HPS, Nucleon Security, Deloitte Morocco Cyber Center), this session provided a hands-on perspective on the challenges and opportunities related to cybersecurity in Fintech.
