On the morning of November 15, 2025, a fire broke out at the E-Land Fashion Logistics Center in Dongnam District, Cheonan City, South Chungcheong Province. Black smoke and high flames sparked concerns that it could lead to delays and numerous orders being canceled.
According to reports, a large fire broke out at the E-Land Fashion Logistics Center in Cheonan City, South Chungcheong Province, Asia's largest fashion distribution center, at 6:00 a.m. local time.
The fire started on the fourth floor of the building. At approximately 6:00 a.m., authorities were notified and issued a Level 1 response level.
However, the fire spread rapidly due to the large amount of clothing stored inside. At 7:01 a.m., the fire was raised to Level 2.
A total of 366 firefighters, eight helicopters, and 122 fire trucks and equipment were deployed.
Officials noted that the building is constructed of reinforced concrete, but its exterior walls are made of highly flammable "sandwich panels." This caused the fire to spread rapidly and become difficult to control. Black smoke was visible from several kilometers away. No injuries or deaths have been reported.
Distribution Center Information:
The 193,210 sq m (approximately 58,450 sq wa) distribution center, built in 2014, houses products from various E-Land brands, including clothing and shoes. This center is particularly suitable for online orders from the SPAO brand, which are shipped from this center.
Impact on Delivery:
SPAO announced on its website that due to the fire, some deliveries may be delayed or orders may be canceled. They are currently conducting safety checks and restoring systems.
