❙ "ဗုံးခိုကျင်းကမ်ပိန်း"

၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ် စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းပြီးတည်းက ကရင်နီဟာ စစ်တလင်းဖြစ်ခဲ့ရတဲ့ နေရာဒေသတခုပါ။ ၂၀၂၃ ခုနှစ်မှာ ၁၀၂၇ စစ်ဆင်ရေးရဲ့ အစွယ်အပွားအဖြစ် ၁၁.၁၁ စစ်ဆင်ရေးကို ဆင်နွှဲခဲ့ပြီးတဲ့နောက် ကရင်နီရဲ့ နယ်မြေဒေသအတော်များများကို တော်လှန်ရေးအင်အားစုတွေထိန်းချုပ်ထားနိုင်ခဲ့ပေမယ့် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်မှာ ရွေးကောက်ပွဲလုပ်မယ်လို့ ကြေညာပြီးတဲ့နောက်ပိုင်းမှာတော့ စစ်ကောင်စီဖက်က ပြည်သူတွေနေထိုင်တဲ့ နေရာတွေကိုပါမချန် လေယာဥ်၊ လက်နက်ကြီး၊ ဒရုန်း ဗုံးကြဲတာတွေ အဆမတန် ပိုမိုအသုံးပြုလာခဲ့ပြီး နယ်မြေဒေသတွေကို ပြန်လည် သိမ်းယူနိုင်ဖို့ ထိုးစစ်ဆင်လာခဲ့ပါတယ်။
၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ သြဂုတ်လအတွင်းမှာဆိုရင် စစ်အုပ်စုရဲ့ လေယာဉ်ဗုံးကြဲမှုကြောင့် တစ်ရက်တည်းနဲ့ ပြည်သူ (၃၂) ယောက် သေဆုံးခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ ဒီးမော့ဆို(အနောက်ဘက်ခြမ်း) ကိုဆိုရင်လည်း တရက်တည်းမှာ လက်နက်ကြီး အလုံး (၁၀၀) ကျော် ပစ်ခတ်တာတွေပြုလုပ်လာခဲ့ပါတယ်။ စာသင်ကျောင်းတွေကို တိုက်ခိုက်တာကတော့ အရင်ကတည်းက ရှိနေပြီးသားပါ။
ဒီအခြေအနေမှာ စာသင်ကျောင်းတွေ၊ စစ်ရှောင်စခန်းတွေမှာ ပိုပြီးတော့ လုံခြုံရေးအစီအမံတွေ ချထားဖို့ လိုအပ်လာပါတယ်။ အဓိက အားဖြင့်တော့ ဗုံးခိုကျင်းတွေ စနစ်တကျ တည်ဆောက်ထားဖို့ အထူးလိုအပ်နေပါတယ်။
စစ်ဘေးရှောင်မိသားစုများ အဆင်ပြေလုံခြုံစွာ နေထိုင်နိုင်ရေးနဲ့ ကလေးငယ်များရဲ့ ပညာရေးကို အားပေးမြှင့်တင်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် မိမိတို့ တော်လှန်ရေးအင်အားစုများက အမြဲအားထုတ် ကြိုးပမ်းနေကြပါတယ်။ ဒီနေရာမှာ အဓိက စိန်ခေါ်မှုကတော့ လေကြောင်းအန္တရာယ်နဲ့ ရန်ပုံငွေ မလုံလောက်မှုပါပဲ။
ဒါကြောင့် မိမိတို့ ရန်ကုန်တက္ကသိုလ်ကျောင်းသားများသမဂ္ဂ (ဗကသများအဖွဲ့ချုပ်) ရဲ့ Students Without Borders အစီအစဉ်က "ဗုံးခိုကျင်းကမ်ပိန်း" ကို ဩဂုတ်လ၂၅ ရက်နေ့မှ စက်တင်ဘာ ၃ ရက်နေ့ အထိ ဆယ်ရက်တာ လုပ်ဆောင်သွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ သိန်း ၁၅၀ ရရှိရန် ရည်မှန်းထားပါတယ်။
ပြည်တွင်း၊ ပြည်ပရှိ ကျောင်းသား၊ ပြည်သူများအနေနဲ့ "ဗုံးခိုကျင်းကမ်ပိန်း"မှာ တတ်အားသရွေ့ ပူးပေါင်းပါဝင်ပေးကြဖို့ အလေးအနက် တိုက်တွန်းနှိုးဆော်လိုက်ရပါတယ်။

❙ The "Bunker Campaign"
Since the 2021 military coup, Karenni State has become a battlefield. Following the launch of Operation 11.11—an extension of Operation 1027—in 2023, resistance forces have successfully gained control of significant territory. However, in response to the junta's announcement of a planned election in 2025, they have intensified their attacks. The military is now using an overwhelming amount of air power, heavy artillery, and drones to drop bombs indiscriminately on civilian areas in a brutal attempt to regain control.
The impact has been devastating. In a single day in August 2025 alone, junta airstrikes killed 32 civilians. On another day, over 100 artillery shells were fired at western Demoso. Attacks on schools, a tactic used for years, are now an expected threat.
In this climate of escalating violence, it's more urgent than ever to implement safety measures, especially at schools and internally displaced persons (IDP) camps. Constructing proper, structurally sound bunkers is the most critical need.
For our revolutionary forces, the main challenges in ensuring the safety and well-being of displaced families and promoting children's education are the constant threat of airstrikes and a severe lack of funding.
That's why we, the University of Yangon Students' Union (UYSU), through our Students Without Borders program, is launching the "Bunker Campaign." This 10-day campaign, running from August 25th to September 3rd, aims to raise 15 million MMK to build safe place for those most at risk.
We urge all students and citizens, both in Myanmar and abroad, to participate and contribute what you can to the Bunker Campaign. Your support is vital.
