💡 Good news for IT Diploma holders: How to upgrade to a full UK Bachelor’s Degree in a fraction of the time! 🇬🇧💻
If you currently hold an HND Level 5 or an NCC Level 5 qualification in IT, you have already completed a significant portion of your higher education.
Instead of starting from scratch, there is a highly efficient pathway available to help you secure a full bachelor's qualification.
For the upcoming June 2026 Intake, the University of Portsmouth (UOP) is offering a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Computer Science (Top-Up) programme, which can be completed right here in Singapore.
This pathway is designed specifically to help students fast-track their education and enter the tech industry faster. Here are a few reasons why this specific June intake is worth looking into:
✅ Direct Entry: Because your HND or NCC Level 5 is fully recognized, you qualify for direct entry into the final stages of the bachelor’s programme.
đź’° Major Financial Support: To make higher education more accessible, there is currently an excellent Study Grant of SGD 9,700 available for eligible students joining this intake.
đź“ť No English Test Required: For eligible applicants, the English proficiency test requirement (like IELTS) is completely waived, making the transition much smoother.
Earning a Computer Science degree from a respected UK university is a fantastic way to open doors in software engineering, system design, and data analysis.
If you or someone you know is looking for the smartest route to finish their IT degree, this is an opportunity well worth exploring!
