A 3rd National Workshop on “Innovative Pathways to Climate Resilient Livelihoods” was virtually organized on 22nd Jan 2021 by Yezin Agriculture University (YAU) and FAO (SLM-GEF Project) through the National CSA Center.

The workshop was organized with the objective to bring researchers, development workers, academicians and policymakers to one platform to discuss and share research findings, experiences and knowledge on innovative concepts and practices on climate resilience livelihoods applicable to Myanmar context.

It was jointly opened by H. E. Dr. Aung Thu, The Union Minister for MoALI; Mr. Arnold Franz, the FAOR a.i. and Dr. Nang Hseng Hom, the Rector of YAU.

အခမ်းအနားသို့ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး ဦးလှကျော်၊ နေပြည်တော်ကောင်စီဝင် ဦးအေးမောင်စိန် နှင့် အဖွဲ့ဝင်များ၊ ပြည်သူ့လွှတ်တော် စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊မွေးမြူရေးနှင့် ကျေးလက်ဒေသ ဖွံ့ဖြိုး တိုး တက် ရေး ကော်မတီ ဥက္ကဌ ဦးရန်လင်း၊ အမျိုးသားပညာရေးမူဝါဒကော်မရှင် ဥက္ကဌ ဒေါက်တာ မျိုးကြွယ်၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂ စားနပ်ရိက္ခာနှင့်စိုက်ပျိုးရေးအဖွဲ့(FAO) ဌာနေကိုယ်စားလှယ် Mr. Franz-Eugen Arnold ၊ အမြဲတမ်းအတွင်းဝန် ဦးကျော်မင်းဦး ၊ ရေဆင်း စိုက်ပျိုးရေး တက္ကသိုလ် ပါမောက္ခချုပ် ဒေါက်တာနန်းဆိုင်ဟွမ်၊ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ်များ၊ ဒုတိယ ညွှန်ကြား ရေး မှူးချုပ်များ၊ ဒုတိယ ပါမောက္ခချုပ်များ၊ ပါမောက္ခများ၊ အမျိုးသားအဆင့် ရာသီဥတုနှင့် သဟဇာတဖြစ်သော စိုက်ပျိုးရေးဗဟိုဌာန နှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည့် MONREC နှင့် GEF တို့မှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများ တက်ရောက်ကြသည်။

အဆိုပါအခမ်းအနားတွင် ကုလသမဂ္ဂ စားနပ်ရိက္ခာနှင့်စိုက်ပျိုးရေးအဖွဲ့(FAO) ဌာနေကိုယ်စားလှယ် က ကျေးဇူးတင်စကား ပြောကြားပြီး
ရေဆင်းစိုက်ပျိုးရေး တက္ကသိုလ် ပါမောက္ခချုပ် ဒေါက်တာ နန်းဆိုင်ဟွမ် က ရာသီဥတုဒဏ် ခံနိုင် ရည်ရှိသော လူမှုအဝန်းအဝိုင်းအတွက် တီထွင် ဆန်းသစ်သည့် နည်းလမ်းများဆိုင်ရာ စာတမ်းဖတ်ပွဲ ပြုလုပ်ခြင်းနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ရှင်းလင်း တင်ပြသည်။

ပြည်ထောင်စုနယ်မြေ နေပြည်တော် ရေဆင်းစိုက်ပျိုးရေးတက္ကသိုလ်၌ အခြေစိုက် တည်ထောင်ထားသော အမျိုးသားအဆင့် ရာသီဥတု နှင့် သဟဇာတဖြစ်သော စိုက်ပျိုးရေး ဗဟိုဌာန အနေဖြင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ စိုက်ပျိုးရေးအခြေအနေကို ထိန်းသိမ်းဆောင်ရွက်ရာတွင် ပြောင်းလဲလာသော ရာသီဥတုနှင့်လိုက်လျောညီထွေဖြစ်စေရန်နှင့် ပါဝင်ဆောင်ရွက်သူများ၏ စွမ်းရည်မြှင့်တင်နိုင်ရေး ရည်ရွယ်၍ စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊မွေးမြူရေးနှင့် ဆည်မြောင်း ဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ကမ္ဘာ့ကုလသမဂ္ဂ စားနပ်ရိက္ခာ နှင့်စိုက်ပျိုးရေးအဖွဲ့၊ သဘာဝ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ထိန်းသိမ်းရေးနှင့် သစ်တောဝန်ကြီးဌာန တို့ ပူး‌ပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။

ယနေ့ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သော ရာသီဥတုဒဏ် ခံနိုင်ရည်ရှိသော လူမှုအဝန်းအဝိုင်းအတွက် တီထွင် ဆန်းသစ်သည့် နည်းလမ်းများဆိုင်ရာ စာတမ်းဖတ်ပွဲ ပထမအပိုင်းတွင် ရေဆင်းစိုက်ပျိုးရေး တက္ကသိုလ် ဒုတိယပါမောက္ခချုပ်(သင်ကြား) ဒေါက်တာလှသန်း က လည်းကောင်း၊ ဒုတိယပိုင်းတွင် ဒေါက်တာသီဟ (Sustainable Forest Management Specialist) နှင့် Mr. Jitendra P. Jaiswal (Climate Smart Agriculture Specialist) တို့က လည်းကောင်း အခမ်းအနား သဘာပတိများ အဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ကြပြီး စာတမ်းရှင်များက စာတမ်း ၁၀ စောင် ဖတ်ကြား တင်သွင်းခဲ့ကာ ၁၅၀ ဦးခန့် ပါဝင်တက်ရောက် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

The workshop is virtually organized by NCSA Center, Yezin Agricultural University and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

🌿The 3rd National Workshop on "Innovative Pathways to Climate Resilient Livelihoods" aims to bring researchers, scholars, scientists, policymakers, environmental science community, academicians and weather scientists on one platform to showcase their research efforts and contributions. Four sub-themes of the 3rd National Workshop on Innovative Pathways to Climate Resilient Livelihoods are
- Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Fishery, and Microenterprise Business Development.

Theme: NCSA Center is calling the research paper at the theme of "Innovative Pathways to Climate Resilient Livelihoods", which is related to Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Fishery, and Microenterprise Business Development areas.
