IPES CPD - Mental Strategies for Ultra Endurance Events - Dr Nadia Portelli

The lecture describes some of the stressors ultra-endurance runners face. It explores how their race satisfaction is affected by coping strategies (cognitive) and how these, in turn, are affected by mental toughness and resilience. It also examines how the frequency of strategy use affects the overall satisfaction with the race experience. The lecture is based on scientific evidence to help ultra-endurance runners prepare for such an event.

Date & Time: Monday 11th May, 18:00-20:00.
