KSM - Kunsill Studenti MCAST Welcome to the official Kunsill Studenti MCAST page! Each member has the role to represent a different institute from MCAST.

'Kunsill Studenti MCAST' in short KSM is consisted of 9 members, which are elected by the students. The role of the student council is to promote the collage interest and to enhance the involvement of the students in the affairs of the collage the student council is to promote the interests of the collage and to improve the involvement of students in the affairs of the collage. Our main aims are

:
• To represent the student requests and opinions to MCAST administration.
• To improve the communication and relationship between students, management and administration.
• Organising activities
• Together with administration we try to improve the environment at the collage
• To support the management and administration in the development of the collage
• To acknowledge and keep the students updated on the collage’s general matters
• To provide information and consultation to students and giving the opportunity to the student to give his/her input on matters regarding the student’s themselves.
• Providing opportunities to the students as discussions, information and consultation about matters which concern the students

This protest is a vital step in addressing the challenges faced by the MCAST community and ensuring that student voices are heard.

Kunsill Studenti MCAST (KSM) Public Statement

The Kunsill Studenti MCAST (KSM) stands firmly alongside the students who have initiated a parliamentary petition addressing the ongoing MUT directives. We understand the frustration and challenges these directives have caused, impacting both the quality of education and the student experience.

As the elected voice of the MCAST student body, we fully endorse this initiative and reaffirm our unwavering support for all students affected by this situation.

🇲🇹Nixtiequ ninfurmaw li l-protesta li ser issir nhar il-Ġimgħa, 11 ta’ Ottubru f’MCAST, mhix organizzata minn KSM (Kunsill Studenti MCAST).

Dan l-avveniment huwa protesta indipendenti organizzata minn studenti individwali. Filwaqt li KSM jappoġġja d-dritt tal-istudenti li jesprimu l-opinjonijiet u t-tħassib tagħhom, ma għandna l-ebda rabta ma' din l-azzjoni partikolari.

Il-prijorità tagħna tibqa’ li nippromwovu l-aħjar interessi tal-istudenti permezz ta’ djalogu kostruttiv u kollaborazzjoni mal-awtoritajiet relevanti.

This event is an independent student protest initiated by individual students.

While KSM supports the right of all students to express their opinions and concerns, we are not affiliated with this particular action.

Our priority remains to advocate for the best interests of the student body through constructive dialogue and collaboration with relevant authorities.

On Monday, members of KSM, as well as other student activists protested outside Parliament to express their frustration with the ongoing disruptions of their examinations and withholding of exam marks.

Prime Minister Robert Abela arrived to meet with us and agreed to have a discussion on the way forward and assured us that he will help the students with this situation. We are grateful and would like to thank the Prime Minister for meeting and discussing with us in order to find a swift solution to the situation.

Until every MCAST student is no longer affected by these directives, KSM will continue to fight and advocate for their rights to their examination results and education without limits.
