I’ve had students who knew hundreds of English words...but couldn’t say a sentence out loud.
Why?
Because they were afraid of sounding dumby.
Here’s the truth:
If you’re learning a language, you will sound weird sometimes.
Your sentences might be broken.
Your accent might be strong.
You might forget a word mid-sentence.
So what?
That’s not failure.
That’s progress.
Every confident speaker you admire?
They went through this too.
Confidence doesn’t mean you never feel nervous.
It means you speak anyway.
It’s not about speaking perfectly.
It’s about being brave consistently.
English isn’t a test you have to pass before you’re allowed to use it.
It’s a tool.
And tools are meant to be used,
not hidden in a drawer.
So go out there.
Use your English.
Even if it’s messy.
Even if your voice shakes.
Confidence is a skill.
And like any skill,
you build it by doing it.
One sentence at a time.
